2.0 FEATURES
- DB50 Connector for Connecting Driver.
- RJ45 Connector for Axis.
- Select Jumper for Hardware Enable or Software Enable.
- Select Jumper for signals Differentials
3.0 BOARD DESCRIPTION
A textual description of the board layout:
The board features two RJ45 connectors, a DB50 connector, and various jumpers and components. Labels indicate:
- CONNECTOR TO DRIVER
- SELECT SOFT OR HARD ENABLE
- CLOSE THE CONTACTS TO ENABLE
- ENCODER OUTPUT
- INPUT SIGNAL
- SELECT JUMPER FOR STEP/DIR OR DIFFERENTIALS
4.0 JUMPER TO SELECT THE ENABLE
Use Software Enable to keep the driver active only while the system is active.
SOFT ENABLE Configuration: Jumper set on positions 1-2.
Use Hardware Enable to keep the driver enabled all the time.
HARD ENABLE Configuration: Jumper set on positions 2-3.
5.0 JUMPER TO SELECT THE DIFFERENTIAL INPUT
If working the inputs of STEP and DIR as differential signals, set the jumper as shown.
DIFFERENTIAL Configuration: Jumper set on positions 1-2.
If not using the differential signal for STEP & DIR, set the jumper as shown.
STEP & DIR Configuration: Jumper set on positions 2-3.
6.0 WIRING SAMPLE
Diagram of connection with input signals Step & Dir and C76:
A wiring diagram shows the DYN5 AC SERVO DRIVE connected via a cable to the C34DYN5 board, which is then connected to a C76 board. Text labels specify "2-3 STEP & DIR" for the connection between DYN5 and C34DYN5. The C76 board has a label indicating "DRIVER FAULT SET ALL JUMPERS IN THE POSITION 1-2".
Diagram of connection with input signals Differentials, C74 and C76:
A wiring diagram shows the DYN5 AC SERVO DRIVE connected via a cable to a C74 board, which is then connected to a C76 board. Text labels specify "1-2 DIFF" for the connection between DYN5 and C74. The C76 board has a label indicating "DRIVER FAULT SET ALL JUMPERS IN THE POSITION 1-2".
7.0 PINOUT
DB50 PIN | FUNCTION | RJ45 PIN |
---|---|---|
21 | SERVO ENABLE * | 5 |
16 | ALARM * | 5 |
3 | DIR- | 3 |
4 | DIR+ | 6 |
5 | STEP- | 1 |
6 | STEP+ | 2 |
