SG-1 Slow Gear
The SG-1 is an effect unit that allows you to produce a violin-like sound in fast passages, simulating advanced techniques. Traditionally, musicians needed to use the guitar's volume control or a volume pedal to simulate this type of sound. The SG-1 makes it easy to produce a wide range of violin sounds simply by adjusting the attack time. You can also use this effect with instruments other than electric guitars by adjusting the sensitivity with the [SENS] knob, according to the input level.
Page | Parameter | Value | Explanation |
---|---|---|---|
1 | SENS ATTACK | 0–100 0–100 | Adjusts the sensitivity. When sensitivity is set to a lower value, the crescendo effect can be obtained with a strong pick stroke only, while no effect is obtained with a weak one. When sensitivity is set to a higher value, the effect is obtained regardless of pick strength. Adjusts the time required for the volume to reach its maximum from the moment of picking. |
2 | CTL1 TARGET CTL1 MODE CTL1 VALUE | OFF, SENS, ATTACK MOMENT, TOGGLE 0–100 | Selects the parameter controlled by the footswitch connected to CTL1. Selects the operating mode of the pedal connected to CTL1. Sets the parameter value controlled by the footswitch connected to CTL1. |

CS-1 Compression Sustainer
The CS-1 offers a sound with long sustain, without distortion. You can emphasize the sustain of the treble sound by setting the mode switch to TREBLE. This produces a balanced sustain sound when playing chords. As the effect is designed with a wide compression range, this effect is useful for all types of instruments. You can also use this effect as a limiter by setting a short sustain.
Page | Parameter | Value | Explanation |
---|---|---|---|
1 | LEVEL MODE SUSTAIN | 0–100 NORMAL, TREBLE 0–100 | Adjusts the volume when the effect is used. Switches the sustain mode. The NORMAL setting produces long sustain with low noise. This is the common setting. The TREBLE setting emphasizes treble sustain. Adjusts the sustain time (how long the sound lasts). Turn the knob clockwise to increase sustain time. Turn counter-clockwise for a limiter effect that reduces the volume of loud sound inputs. |
2 | CTL1 TARGET CTL1 MODE CTL1 VALUE | OFF, LEVEL, (MODE), SUSTAIN MOMENT, TOGGLE 0–100, (NORMAL, TREBLE) | Selects the parameter controlled by the footswitch connected to CTL1. TW-1 Wah
The TW-1 controls the wah effect according to the strength of your picking, producing sounds that cannot be achieved using a wah pedal alone. The wah sound can be altered from a deeper sound to a milder sound, and it can be used on basses and other instruments besides guitars.
Page | Parameter | Value | Explanation |
---|---|---|---|
1 | SENS DRIVE PEAK | 0–100 DOWN, UP 0–100 | Adjusts the intensity of the wah effect in relation to the input level. Turn clockwise to apply more wah sound, even with a weak pick stroke. * The guitar volume changes according to the pickup sound, not just the volume control. Adjust for the ideal value according to your guitar and playing style. Switches between different tone-shaping variations. The UP setting produces a wah effect when the filter sweeps in an ascending frequency direction. The DOWN setting produces a wah effect when the filter sweeps in a descending frequency direction. Adjusts the wah effect sound. Turn the knob clockwise for a deeper effect and counter-clockwise for a milder effect. |
