How to Install
Note: Top Rail and Sliding Panels are offset to provide a proper pitch to the rear (5/16") for condensed water utilization and drainage. If not using side panels, this pitch must be maintained.
- Place the unit on the floor, a bench, or a table. Use the Left and Right Window Filler Panels, ensuring the flange for securing the panel to the window sill faces into the room.
- Hold the Accordion Panel and gently pull back the center to free the open end (See Fig.2). Slide the free end into the cabinet (See Fig.3). Slide the panel down, ensuring enough space to fit the top and bottom of the frame into the cabinet rails.
- Diagram Description (Fig.2): Illustrates pulling the accordion panel open.
- Diagram Description (Fig.3): Shows sliding the accordion panel into the air conditioner cabinet.
- Once the panel is installed, ensure it sits securely in the frame channel by making slight adjustments. Slide the top and bottom ends of the frame into the top and bottom rails of the cabinet (See Fig.4). Slide the panel all the way in and repeat on the other side.
- Diagram Description (Fig.4): Shows the accordion panel fully inserted into the cabinet frame.
- Carefully place the unit into the window opening, ensuring the bottom of the air conditioner frame rests against the window sill (Fig.5). Carefully close the window behind the top rail. It is suggested to keep a downward oblique angle to let accumulated rain water drain from the unit's bottom.
- Extend the side panels out against the window frame (Fig.6).
