Light Kit for The Orient Express Train 21344
Instruction Manual by Game of Bricks
Thank You
Thank you for purchasing this product. To achieve the perfect hidden-line effect, we use thin aviation-grade wire with high tension and pressure tolerance. Due to its delicate nature, please be careful not to cut through the wire, as it may be susceptible to shearing during installation. Always ensure not to press brick pieces down onto the wire.
Let's Get Started
If you encounter any challenges during installation, please feel free to contact us via support@gameofbricks.eu. We offer 2 years of free light kit maintenance.
Step 1: Installing Lights on the Locomotive (Bag 1)
This section details the installation of the lighting components for the locomotive of The Orient Express Train 21344.
Step 1.1: Prepare the locomotive model. Identify the designated areas for light placement, typically at the front of the locomotive.
Step 1.2: Attach the small LED lights to the front of the locomotive. These lights are designed to illuminate the headlights.
Step 1.3: Carefully route the thin wires from the LEDs along the underside and through the structure of the locomotive, ensuring they are not pinched or visible.
Step 1.4: Connect the wires to the appropriate connectors or extension cables provided in Bag 1, preparing them for connection to the power source.
Step 1.5: Secure the wires within the model's internal structure, ensuring they are neatly managed and do not interfere with the brick assembly. The locomotive model, marked with "52" and "SAPPHIRE STAR", is shown being fitted with these lights.
Step 2: Installing Lights on the Carriages (Bag 2)
This section covers the installation of lighting components for the various carriages of The Orient Express Train 21344.
Step 2.1: Identify the carriages to be lit, including the "VOITURE-LITS" (Sleeper Car) and "VOITURE RESTAURANT" (Restaurant Car).
Step 2.2: Install LED strips or individual lights within the interior of each carriage. These lights are typically placed along the sides or ceilings to illuminate the passenger compartments and dining areas.
Step 2.3: Route the wires from the lights through the internal structure of each carriage. Pay attention to the city names printed on the carriages, such as PARIS, MUNCHEN, WIEN, BUCAREŞTI, BEOGRAD, SOFIA, ISTANBUL.
Step 2.4: Connect the wires from different carriages to extension cables, ensuring a continuous connection path for power distribution.
Step 2.5: Secure the wiring within the carriages, ensuring it is hidden and does not obstruct the carriage assembly or function. Specific steps involve attaching lights to the carriage interiors, routing wires, and connecting them, often involving opening up the carriage sections.
Step 3: Connecting to Power (Classic Version)
This section details the final connection of the lighting system to the power source.
Step 3.1: Gather the main wire bundles from the locomotive and carriages.
Step 3.2: Connect these wire bundles to the provided battery box.
Step 3.3: Place the battery box within the designated compartment of the train model, typically in the locomotive or a specific carriage.
Step 3.4: Ensure all connections are secure. The installation is complete once the light kit is connected to the battery box.
Important Note: If using an alternative power source, ensure the maximum voltage does not exceed 6V.
