Rider's Notice
The GT1 electric scooter is a recreational device. However, once used in public areas, it is considered a vehicle and subject to vehicle risks. For your safety, follow the manual's instructions and traffic laws.
Understand that risks cannot be entirely avoided, as others may violate traffic rules or ride carelessly. You are exposed to road accidents similar to walking or cycling. The faster the scooter, the longer it takes to stop. Slippery surfaces can cause loss of balance and falls. Exercise caution, maintain appropriate speed and distance, especially in unfamiliar areas.
Respect pedestrian right-of-way. Do not startle pedestrians, especially children. When passing pedestrians, use the bell to alert them and pass on their left (where applicable). When crossing paths with pedestrians, stay to the right and maintain a low speed. If crossing paths with pedestrians on foot, maintain the lowest speed or dismount.
Strictly follow the safety instructions in this manual. The manufacturer is not responsible for financial losses, injuries, accidents, legal disputes, or conflicts arising from actions that violate user instructions.
Do not lend the scooter to anyone unfamiliar with its operation. Ensure friends know how to operate it and wear safety gear.
Inspect the scooter before each use. If you notice loose parts, low battery warnings, excessive wear, strange noises, malfunctions, or other abnormal conditions, stop riding.
WARNING - Fire Hazard - No user-serviceable parts.
Charging Instructions
- The scooter is fully charged when the charger's LED indicator turns green from red.
- The scooter automatically stops charging once the battery is full due to charge protection. However, do not charge the scooter for more than 24 consecutive hours.
- Do not connect the charger if the charging port is wet.
- Keep the charging port cover closed when not charging.
! For safety, never use a charger other than the official one.
Battery Charging and Safety Precautions
- Be careful when using power outlets to avoid electric shock.
- Do not leave the charger connected for extended periods (over 24 hours).
- Charge the scooter only in a safe, clean, and dry environment. Keep the charger and scooter away from flammable materials as they may overheat.
- Use only original battery packs and chargers supplied with the scooter. Contact the dealer for replacements. Using other models or brands may be unsafe.
- Do not touch any part of the charging port and keep it away from metal objects to prevent short circuits that could damage the battery or cause injury or death.
- Do not place the battery in direct contact with heat or near high temperatures.
- Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight.
- Do not leave the scooter in a car where the battery could overheat.
- Do not puncture the battery with sharp objects. Do not subject it to impact or force.
- Stop charging if the battery does not charge within the approximate charging time, to prevent overheating, rupture, or fire.
- Do not charge the battery at temperatures below 0°C / 32°F or above 40°C / 104°F to avoid compromising performance, causing breakage, overheating, fire, or personal injury/material damage.
- Do not charge the scooter if the charging port is damaged or wet. Do not charge if the battery is hot, smells, leaks excessively, or looks abnormal.
- If the battery leaks and you come into contact with the liquid, immediately rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
- Never attempt to disassemble, modify, or repair the battery. This risks damaging protective components and safety features, leading to accidents, injury, or material damage.
- Improper handling or use of the battery can lead to reduced performance, shorter lifespan, rupture, ignition, or other incidents, increasing the risk of serious personal injury.
- Do not discharge the battery using products other than the scooter, as this could damage other products or the battery and shorten its lifespan.
- The battery may overheat, rupture, or ignite, causing personal injury or material damage.
- In daily use, avoid recharging the scooter only after the battery is completely depleted. If the battery level is low, recharge the scooter as soon as possible.
- Please charge the scooter every two months to preserve the battery.
Disc Brake Adjustment
To adjust the disc brake:
An hexagonal wrench is required to loosen the cable clamp bolt.
- If the disc brake drags, slide the caliper arm backward along the cable while holding the cable with one hand. Then, retighten the brake caliper bolt.
- If the disc brake is not efficient, the cable is loose. Slide the caliper arm forward along the cable while holding the cable with one hand. Then, retighten the brake cable clamp bolt.
Note: The disc brake may squeak during use until it is broken in. This is normal and does not affect brake function or performance.
To Eliminate Brake Noise
For easier operation, it is recommended to rest the scooter on a desk.
- Turn off the scooter.
- Loosen the two brake caliper mounting bolts (not the cable clamp bolt).
- Reposition the brake caliper so the brake rotor is centered between the pads.
- After repositioning the brake caliper, retighten the bolts.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
- To clean stains on the scooter's body, wipe with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use toothpaste and then clean with a damp cloth.
- Do not clean the scooter with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents.
- Do not wash the scooter's floorboard with high-pressure water jets. During cleaning, ensure the scooter is off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the charging port's waterproof cover is closed to prevent electric shock or other serious issues.
Storage
- Store the scooter in a cool, dry place at a temperature of -10°C to 35°C (14°F to 95°F) when not in use. In extremely humid environments, internal parts may form condensation or accumulate water, which can quickly damage the battery.
