Notes:
- Watches are not waterproof.
- Do not pull out the crown when your watch is wet.
- Do not press buttons or pull out the crown while your watch is underwater.
- Buttons can be pressed once underwater without re-pressing, but the crown should not be pulled out. If your watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and wipe it dry.
- Watches can be used for scuba diving (excluding depths requiring a helium-oxygen gas mixture). Do not pull out the crown while your watch is underwater.
- Some water-resistant watches feature leather straps. Do not wear these models while swimming or engaging in other activities where the strap may be submerged in water.
Care for Your Watch
- Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover yourself.
- The gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If moisture enters the inside of the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest dealer or a CASIO distributor.
- Do not expose your watch to extreme temperatures.
- While designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping your watch.
- Do not fasten the strap too tightly. You should be able to fit a finger between your wrist and the strap.
- To clean your watch and strap, use a piece of dry, soft cloth, or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile agents such as gasoline, solvents, spray cleaners, etc.
- When not in use, store your watch in a dry place.
- Avoid exposing your watch to gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions with these materials can damage gaskets, cases, and polished surfaces.
- Some watches have silk-screened images on their straps. Be careful when cleaning these straps to avoid damaging the designs.
For Watches with Rubber Straps:
- A white powdery substance may appear on the strap. This substance is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth.
- Exposure of the rubber strap to sweat or moisture, or storage in high humidity conditions, can lead to damage, tearing, or cracking. To ensure a long service life for the rubber strap, wipe it clean of dirt and water with a soft cloth whenever possible.
