Watch Care
- Never attempt to open the case or remove the case back.
- The gasket protecting the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If moisture enters the watch, have it checked immediately by an authorized CASIO dealer or distributor.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures.
- While designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping the watch.
- Do not fasten the band too tightly; a finger should fit between your wrist and the band.
- To clean the watch and band, use a dry, soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a mild solution of water and neutral detergent. Never use volatile solvents (e.g., benzine, thinners, spray cleaners).
- Store the watch in a dry place when not in use.
- Avoid contact with benzine, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paints, etc. Chemical reactions can damage gaskets, cases, and polish.
- Some models have silk-screened images on the band. Clean these bands carefully to avoid damaging the designs.
For Watches with Resin Bands
- A whitish powdery substance may appear on the band. This is harmless and can be wiped off with a cloth.
- Exposure to sweat or moisture, or storage in high humidity, can damage or crack the resin band. To ensure long life, wipe the band with a soft cloth after exposure to dirt and water.
