Entry Functions
The PAXOS® advance IP system uses keys and a dial knob for user interaction. The device features a keypad with numbered buttons and a display.
Using Keys

Using the Dial Knob

Opening Functions
The system allows opening of different compartments and doors.
- Vault door: Can be opened using Code Lock 1, or specific commands like "Open door lock x" or "Open bolt work/door".
- Inner compartment: Can be opened using "Inner cabinet 1" or "Open inner compartment".
Other Possible Display Messages & Conditions:
- ? Blocking: Remote blocking - Operation is blocked by an input signal (I/O-Box) or initiated by AS 384 NET. Opening is not possible.
- ⏳ Time lock period - System is blocked by a time lock period (time functions). Opening is only possible after time lock interruption or after the time lock ends.
- ? Battery Status - Battery compartment opened and/or disconnected from external power supply. Refer to "Replacing batteries".
- ? 2. code entry required (4-eye-ident.) - With activated 4-eye-identification, the lock only opens upon entry of two opening codes.
- ⏱️ Delay (Opening delay) - If an opening delay is programmed, time must elapse after code entry before the lock opens.
- ✅ Confirmation window - If a confirmation window is programmed, once the opening delay has elapsed, an additional code entry will open the lock.
Code Functions
Manage access codes for the system.
- Setting new codes: Allows setting new codes and managing inactive codes.
- Changing codes: Enables modification of existing codes.
- Deleting codes: Removes existing codes from the system.
Time Functions
Configure time-based access restrictions and settings.
- Setting date/time: Adjust the system's date and time.
- Setting Time Lock: Configure weekly or yearly time locks.
- Changing Time Lock: Define start and end times for time locks.
- Setting opening delay: Program a delay period after code entry before the lock opens.
Settings
Configure various operational parameters.
- Activating immediate TL / setting default: Enables immediate time lock functionality.
- Activating remote disable: Allows remote disabling of the system.
- Activating parallel mode: Configures the system for parallel operation.
- Activating 4-eye-identification: Enables the 4-eye-identification feature for selected locks.
Replacing Batteries
Instructions for battery replacement.
- Low battery warning: Indicates when batteries need replacement.
- Procedure: Open battery compartment, replace batteries, and potentially enter a battery code.
Menu Overview
The PAXOS® advance IP system is navigated via an Operation Menu, accessible by pressing the
key. The menu structure allows access to several main categories:- Code Functions: For managing user access codes.
- Time Functions: For configuring time-based access rules, including date/time settings, time locks, and opening delays.
- Settings: For system configuration such as locking modes, remote disable, parallel mode, and 4-eye-identification.
- Open: For direct access to open vault doors or inner compartments.
- Info Menu: Accessed by pressing and holding the key for 3 seconds. This menu provides system information like serial numbers, versions, and power status.
Detailed system information, including serial numbers, versions, and voltage readings, is available under the 'System' section within the 'Info Menu'. Input Unit settings (like volume, contrast, backlight, language) are accessible within relevant sections like 'Settings' or 'Open'.
