Risk of electric shock!
- Repairs should only be carried out by trained engineers. If the appliance is faulty, unplug it or switch off the fuse. Contact after-sales service.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified person.
- Avoid using the machine with wet hands, on wet surfaces, or in water. Do not soak the machine.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended or before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
Risk of injury!
- Never use your fingers or other objects to push food through the head tube; use the food pusher.
- Avoid contacting moving parts. Do not use fingers to scrape food from the hopper plate while the appliance is operating.
Use Caution
- NEVER grind hard food such as bones, meat with skin, or nuts.
- NEVER grind ginger or other materials with hard fiber.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near children.
- When carrying the unit, hold the motor housing with both hands. Do not carry by the hopper plate or head tube only.
- Do not fix the cutting blade and grinding plate when using the kibbe attachment.
- Continuous running of the meat grinder should not exceed 10 minutes, with a 10-minute interval for motor cooling.
- The reverse function is prohibited while the appliance is operating. Wait at least 5 seconds for the grinder to stop completely before switching between ON and R.
- After use, some food residue or black metal powder may be found in the grinder head. This is normal. Discard any such residue.
- To avoid jamming, do not force the unit with excessive pressure.
NOTE:
- Upon initial use, the machine may emit an odor. Place it in a well-ventilated area. The odor should fade with regular use.

Getting to Know Your Appliance
Parts of the Meat Grinder:
- Food pusher
- Hopper plate
- Locking knob
- ON/O/R switch
- Housing
- Head tube
- Feed screw
- Cutting blade
- Grinding plate (fine)
- Grinding plate (medium)
- Grinding plate (coarse)
- Fixing ring
- Sausage attachment
- Kibbe attachment
There are 3 sizes of grinding plates, differing by hole diameter: 7mm (0.3”), 5mm (0.2”), and 3mm (0.1”). Smaller diameters produce finer grinds.
Installation Instruction
Before first using:
- Check that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches your home's mains voltage.
- Wash all parts (except the housing) in warm soapy water.
- Ensure the switch is in the middle "O" position before plugging in.
Assembling:
- Hold the head tube and insert it into the inlet.
- Securely fasten it by turning the head tube anti-clockwise.
- Insert the feed screw into the head tube with the long end first, twisting gently until it fits into the housing.
- Position the cutting blade on the feed screw shaft with the blade facing forward. Incorrect placement will result in meat not being ground.
- Position the grinding plate outside the cutting blade, aligning the protrusions with the slots.
- Support the center of the grinding plate with one finger while twisting the fixing ring tightly with the other hand. Do not overtighten.
- Secure the hopper plate to the head tube.
- Place the unit on a firm surface. Ensure air passages at the bottom and side of the housing are not blocked.
Operation
Mincing meat:
- Chop food into small pieces (approx. 20x20x60 mm) for easy insertion into the hopper. Lean, boneless, and fat-free meat is recommended.
- Plug in and switch the button to “ON”.
- Feed food into the hopper plate using only the food pusher.
- After use, turn the button to “O”, unplug the appliance, and clean it.
NOTE:
- Use the food pusher to direct meat into the head tube. Do not apply excessive force.
- The cut of meat will determine the pressure needed with the food pusher.
Reverse function:
- In case of jamming, switch the appliance to “O”.
- Wait a few seconds for a complete stop, then press the switch to “R”.
- The feed screw will rotate in the opposite direction, emptying the head tube.
- In case of malfunction, switch off, unplug, and clean the interior.
Hints & Tips
- Grinding too finely or excessively can result in a mushy texture.
- Double grinding can improve the mix of lean and fatty meat for better results, such as for hamburgers.
- For grilling hamburgers, an 80-20 (lean-fat) or 85-15 mix is recommended. High-temperature grilling may reduce fat content by 5-10%.
Cooking Guideline
Making Kibbe
Kibbe is a Middle Eastern appetizer consisting of a rugby-shaped shell filled with meat. The filling is typically spiced minced mutton. Kibbe is usually deep-fried for a crispy exterior and delicious filling.
Recipe:
STUFFING | OUTER SHELL | ||
---|---|---|---|
Mutton | 100g | Lean meat | 450g |
Olive oil | 1½ tablespoons | Flour (do not grind) | 150-200g |
Onion (cut finely) | 10g or to your taste | Spices | to your taste |
Spices | to your taste | Nutmeg (cut finely) | 1 |
Salt | to your taste | Powdered red pepper | to your taste |
Flour (do not grind) | 1½ tablespoons | Pepper | to your taste |
To assemble the kibbe attachment:
- Remove the grinding plate (following disassembly steps 5 to 3).
- Attach the kibbe attachments onto the feed screw shaft by aligning protrusions with slots.
- Tighten the fixing ring firmly, but do not overtighten.
Making Sausage
Insert the stuffing tube into the back of the adapter ring and push until snug. Assemble the attachment as shown.
Tips:
- For a gritty or chewy sausage texture, consider Double Grinding. Grind meat with the largest plate (7mm/0.3”), then reassemble the stuffing tube (without the cutting blade) and grind again.
Sausage stuffing:
- Grind meat to the desired consistency.
- Add water and spices to the mixture; mix well.
- Bunch the appropriate sized casing onto the sausage stuffing tube.
- Place the sausage mixture into the hopper plate and feed it into the grinder using the food pusher.
- Twist the casings to the desired length as they fill.
NOTE: Meat must be prepped beforehand. You cannot grind unprocessed meat directly into casings. Water content is crucial for sausage mixture; adjust as needed.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Ensure the motor has stopped completely and the appliance is unplugged.
- Follow disassembly steps in reverse (pic 6 to 1).
- If the fixing ring is difficult to remove, use tools.
- Use a screwdriver to lift the grinding plate from the head tube.
Cleaning:
CAUTION! Before cleaning, switch off and unplug the appliance.
- Never clean accessories in a dishwasher with strong alkaline cleaners or bleach solutions, as they can discolor aluminum surfaces.
- Do not immerse the motor housing in water; wipe with a damp cloth only.
- Thinners and petrol can crack or change the unit's color; do not use them.
- Remove meat residue. Wash each part in warm soapy water.
- Wash all metal parts in water below 50°C (122°F) and dry them.
- If the unit is unused for a long period, wipe all metal parts with a cloth lightly oiled with vegetable oil.
