Operation
Controls
The machine has two controls for adjusting the cleaning coil: the Forward/Neutral/Reverse lever and the direction of rotation switch. The direction of rotation and movement of the cleaning coil will change depending on how the controls are set.
- Forward/Neutral/Reverse Lever:
- Forward Setting: The cleaning coil will be moved in.
- Neutral Setting: The cleaning coil will be moved neither out nor in.
- Reverse Setting: The cleaning coil will be moved out.
- Direction of Rotation Switch:
- Setting L (Left): The cleaning coil will turn counter-clockwise when pushed in from the L side.
- Setting R (Right): The cleaning coil will turn clockwise when pushed in from the R side.
Usage
Applying the Drain Cleaner:
- Remove the stopper from the drain to start cleaning. This method can be applied to products like basins, bathtubs, drain pipes, etc.
- Feed the cleaning coil into the drain slowly. Ensure one hand is on the lever and one hand on the handle, and start the process by selecting the direction of rotation switch and pressing the variable speed trigger. The cleaning coil may also be fed manually by shifting the lever to neutral and holding the handle with one hand while feeding the cleaning coil with the other.
- After the blockage has been cleared, check the result with enough water and repeat the technique as needed until the pipe is totally free again.
On/Off Switch (Variable Speed Trigger): Press the switch to turn on the tool; release to switch off. The speed varies depending on the amount of pressure applied to the trigger.
LED Light: Pressing the On/Off switch also turns on the LED light for better visibility of the work area. The light will continue to shine for approximately 10 seconds after the switch is released.
Maintenance
[Warning] ENSURE THE TOOL IS SWITCHED OFF AND THE BATTERY IS REMOVED BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE TASKS.
Cleaning The Cleaning Coil:
- Move the Forward/Neutral/Reverse lever to the Neutral setting and then pull the coil out of the machine for cleaning.
- After cleaning the pipe, clean and dry the cleaning coil thoroughly with a clean rag before moving it fully into the storage drum.
Emptying the Storage Drum:
Lift the two drain tabs on the sides of the drum while holding it at an angle. Allow any liquids inside the drum to drain into a liquid waste container. Leave drain tabs open until the storage drum has dried completely. If dirt collects in the drum, rinse it out with clear water by opening the cleaning/emptying openings.
Replacing The Cleaning Coil:
A damaged or worn cleaning coil can be replaced. Pull the cleaning coil out until the connecting piece is visible. Unscrew the connecting piece, pull off the old coil, and fit the new one in reverse order. Ensure the screw on the connecting piece is tight. Move the new cleaning coil into the storage drum.
