Inserting & Removing Accessories
- Pull the drive retaining ring forward.
- Insert the hex shank of the appropriate (1/4") driver bit.
- Release the drive bit retaining ring and pull on the bit to ensure it is firmly in place.
- To remove, pull the drive retaining ring forward and remove the driving bit.
⚠️ DO NOT HANDLE ACCESSORIES WITHOUT GLOVES AS THEY ARE SHARP AND CAN BECOME HOT AFTER USE, POTENTIALLY CAUSING PERSONAL INJURY.
Operation
Inserting & Removing the Battery
- Align the battery ribs with the recess at the base of the driver handle and push until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press and hold the battery release tab and then slide out.
Battery Protection System
The tool has a battery protection system for long service life. Output power cuts off automatically during operation when:
- The tool is overloaded: Release trigger, remove overload cause, then restart.
- Remaining battery capacity is low: Recharge the battery pack.
2. Controls
Variable Speed Trigger
1. Squeeze the variable speed trigger to start the driver.
2. Release the trigger to stop the driver.
3. Control speed by adjusting pressure on the trigger (Slower <-> Faster).
Forward/Reverse Lever
1. To drive screws/bolts, push the lever hard left (FWD).
2. To remove screws/bolts, push the lever hard right (REV).
3. Driving Procedure
- Depress and release the on/off trigger to ensure it is not locked.
- Check the forward/reverse lever is on the desired setting.
- Ensure the work piece is secured to stop it turning whilst driving.
- Hold the driver firmly against the fastener to stop it slipping.
- Lightly squeeze the variable speed trigger to start the driver.
- Slowly increase pressure on the trigger to the appropriate torque until the screw or bolt is tightened.
Note: Do not force the driver or apply side pressure to elongate the hole. Let the impact driver do the work.
4. Troubleshooting
LED lights do not illuminate on charger
Check charging adaptor is securely plugged into the wall outlet. Ensure the battery is firmly connected to the charging cradle and the charging jack is securely connected.
The battery has a short run time
Ensure the battery is properly charged. It may take 4-5 charging cycles for optimum charge. Initial charge requires 5 hours; subsequent charges require 3-5 hours.
Variable speed trigger is locked
Ensure the forward/reverse lever is fully engaged (left for forwards, right for backwards). If it is between settings, the trigger will be locked.
The Brushless Impact Driver is stripping the screw head
Avoid applying too much force. Decrease force by using a slower trigger speed.
Maintenance
⚠️ ALWAYS ENSURE THE TOOL HAS COMPLETELY STOPPED AND THE BATTERY IS REMOVED PRIOR TO ANY MAINTENANCE.
- After each use, blow air through the tool housing to remove dust and dirt.
- If the housing requires cleaning, use a moist soft cloth or soft brush only. Do not use solvents.
- Never let liquid get inside the tool or immerse any part in liquid.
- Store the impact driver in a dry, frost-free location out of reach of children.
Note: Ozito Industries is not responsible for damage or injuries caused by unauthorized repairs or mishandling.

Safety Warnings
Electrical Safety
⚠️ Always follow basic safety precautions when using mains-powered tools to reduce risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury, and material damage.
The charger is designed for 230V and 240V only. Check power supply voltage matches the rating plate. Ozito tools' 230V and 240V supplies are interchangeable for Australia and New Zealand.
The charger is double insulated; no earth wire is required. Double insulation does not replace normal safety precautions. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician or repairer.
The power supply for the charger should be protected by a residual current device (30mA or less) to reduce the risk of electric shock.
General Power Tool Safety Warnings
⚠️ Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
1. Work Area Safety: Keep clean and well lit. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres. Keep children and bystanders away.
2. Electrical Safety: Match plugs to outlets. Do not use adapter plugs with earthed tools. Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces. Do not expose to rain or wet conditions. Do not abuse the cord. Use outdoor extension cords for outdoor use.
3. Personal Safety: Stay alert, use common sense. Do not use when tired or under the influence. Use personal protective equipment (eye protection, dust mask, safety shoes, hearing protection). Prevent unintentional starting by ensuring the switch is off before connecting power/battery. Remove adjusting keys/wrenches. Maintain proper footing and balance. Dress properly; avoid loose clothing, jewelry, and long hair. Ensure dust extraction is used. Do not become complacent.
4. Power Tool Use and Care: Use the correct tool for the application. Do not use if the switch is faulty. Disconnect power/battery before adjustments or storage. Store idle tools out of reach of children. Maintain tools; check for misalignment or damage. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Use accessories according to instructions. Keep handles dry and clean.
5. Battery Tool Use and Care: Recharge only with the specified charger. Use only with designated battery packs. Keep battery away from metal objects to prevent shorting. Avoid contact with ejected battery liquid. Do not use damaged or modified batteries. Do not expose batteries to fire or excessive temperature. Follow charging instructions.
6. Service: Have tools serviced by qualified personnel using identical replacement parts. Never service damaged battery packs.
Brushless Impact Driver Safety Warnings
⚠️ Wear ear protectors when impact drilling to prevent hearing loss.
Use auxiliary handle(s) if supplied. Loss of control can cause injury.
Hold by insulated gripping surfaces when the accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a "live" wire can make tool parts "live" and cause electric shock.
Before drilling into walls, check for concealed power cables or pipes.
Bits, sockets, and tools get hot; wear gloves when handling them.
Do not overreach; maintain balanced stance.
Take regular breaks; use gloves to provide cushioning against vibration.
Always use safety glasses; everyday glasses are not sufficient.
⚠️ Some dust from construction activities contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm (e.g., lead, crystalline silica, arsenic, chromium). Reduce exposure by working in ventilated areas and using approved safety equipment like dust masks.
⚠️ This appliance is not intended for use by young or infirm persons unless supervised by a responsible person. Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
