Troubleshooting
Common Questions
Screen
? The image is blurry.
- Download the Resolution file from the website (Ref: Product Support page 3). Refer to "Modifying Screen Resolution". Select the appropriate resolution, refresh rate, and follow the instructions to make adjustments.
- If you are using a VGA extension cable, remove the extension for testing. Is the image in focus now? Download the Resolution file from the website (Ref: Product Support page 3). Refer to "Modifying Screen Resolution". Select your native resolution, refresh rate, and make adjustments according to the instructions for image optimization. Image blurriness due to signal loss in extension cables is considered normal. You can minimize these losses by using a cable with better signal quality or one with a built-in booster.
? Does the blurry image only occur with resolutions lower than the native resolution?
- Download the Resolution file from the website (Ref: Product Support page 3). Refer to "Modifying Screen Resolution". Select the native resolution.
? Pixel defects are noticeable.
- One or more pixels are always black, one or more pixels are always white, or one or more pixels are always red, green, blue, or any other color.
- Clean the LCD screen.
- Turn the unit off and then on again.
- Some pixels may remain permanently lit or off, which is not a malfunction but a natural characteristic of LCD technology.
? The image color is incorrect.
- Yellow, blue, or pink.
- Go to the Color and Color Reset menu, then select YES to restore colors to factory defaults.
- If the image is still not perfect and the OSD color is also incorrect, it means one of the primary colors is missing from the signal input. Check the signal cable connections. If any of the connector pins are bent or broken, contact your reseller for assistance.
? The image is distorted, flickers, or vibrates.
- Download the Resolution file from the website (Ref: Product Support page 3). Refer to "Modifying Screen Resolution". Select the appropriate resolution, refresh rate, and follow the instructions to make adjustments.
? The image is shifted.
- Download the Resolution file from the website (Ref: Product Support page 3). Refer to "Modifying Screen Resolution". Select the appropriate resolution, refresh rate, and follow the instructions to make adjustments.
? A faint shadow of a static image is visible on the screen.
- Enable the energy-saving function so that the computer and monitor enter "sleep" mode with low power consumption when not in use.
- Prevent screen burn-in with a screen saver.
Power Indicator LED
? The LED light is white or amber.
- If the LED is white, the monitor is powered on.
- If the LED is white and the screen displays "Too High", it means an unsupported display mode is being used. Change the settings to one of the supported modes. Download the Resolution file from the website (Ref: Product Support page 3). Refer to "Modifying Screen Resolution". Select the appropriate resolution, refresh rate, and follow the instructions to make adjustments.
- If the LED is amber, the energy-saving system has been activated. Press any key on the computer keyboard or move the mouse. If this does not help, check the signal cable and its connections. If any of the connector pins are bent or broken, contact your reseller for assistance.
- If the LED does not light up, check the main power connections to the external power outlet and main switch.
OSD Controls
? OSD controls are not available.
- If the OSD controls are locked by default, press and hold any button for 5 seconds to unlock them.
? How to change the OSD language?
- The OSD language can only be selected during the initial setup. To change the OSD language, you need to reset the settings. For details, see "Resetting Settings" on page 21.
OSD Messages
? The "Too High" message appears on the screen during the computer boot process.
- If the "Too High" message appears on the screen during the computer startup process, it indicates compatibility issues with the computer's operating system or graphics card. The system will automatically adjust the refresh rate. Simply wait for the operating system to start.
