Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Image Appearance
[Question Mark Symbol] Image is blurry.
- Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). See "Adjusting Screen Resolution". Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and perform adjustments according to these instructions.
- If using a VGA extension cable, remove it before testing. Is the image now in focus? Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). See "Adjusting Screen Resolution". Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and perform adjustments according to these instructions to optimize the image. Image blurriness is normal due to losses in extension cables. You can minimize these losses by using extension cables with better conductivity or with a built-in amplifier.
[Question Mark Symbol] Does blurriness occur only at resolutions lower than the specified (maximum) resolution?
- Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). See "Adjusting Screen Resolution". Then, select the specified resolution.
[Question Mark Symbol] Pixel errors are visible.
- One or more pixels are constantly black, one or more pixels are constantly white, or one or more pixels are constantly red, green, blue, or other colors.
- Clean the LCD screen.
- Turn the power on and off.
- These are pixels that are either permanently on or off, which is a natural defect that occurs in LCD technology.
[Question Mark Symbol] Image has incorrect colors.
- Looks yellow, blue, or pink.
- Open Color and Reset Color, then select YES to reset color settings to factory defaults.
- If the image is still not displayed correctly, and the OSD is also displaying incorrect colors, it means that one of the three primary colors is missing in the input signal. Now check the signal cable connections. If any pin is bent or broken, contact your retailer for assistance.
[Question Mark Symbol] Image is distorted, flickers, or jitters.
- Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). See "Adjusting Screen Resolution". Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and perform adjustments according to these instructions.
[Question Mark Symbol] Image is shifted in one direction.
- Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). See "Adjusting Screen Resolution". Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and perform adjustments according to these instructions.
[Question Mark Symbol] A faint shadow of a static image that was previously on the screen appears.
- Activate the power management function so that the computer and monitor enter "sleep" mode with low power consumption when not in use.
- Use a screen saver to prevent ghosting.
Power LED Indicator
[Question Mark Symbol] The LED indicator is white or amber.
- If the LED is constantly white, the monitor is on.
- If the LED is white and the screen displays an "Out of Range" message, it means the display mode is not supported by this monitor. Change the setting to a mode supported by this model. Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). See "Adjusting Screen Resolution". Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and perform adjustments according to these instructions.
- If the LED is amber, the power management mode is active. Press any key on the computer keyboard or move the mouse. If this does not help, check the signal cable connections. If any pin is bent or broken, contact your retailer for assistance.
- If the LED is off, check if the power outlet, external power source, and main switch are working.
OSD Control Buttons
[Question Mark Symbol] OSD control buttons are not available.
- To unlock the OSD control buttons when they are locked by default, press and hold any button for 5 seconds.
[Question Mark Symbol] How to change the OSD menu language?
- The OSD menu language can only be selected during the initial startup. To change the OSD menu language, you need to reset the settings. For details, see Resetting Settings on page 21.
OSD Messages
[Question Mark Symbol] "Out of Range" message on the screen during computer startup.
