- The power plug disconnects this device from the mains power.
- The power cord also serves as a means of disconnecting the device from the mains power. The socket outlet should be near the device and easily accessible.
- This apparatus must be powered by the voltage indicated on the apparatus rating label. If you are unsure of the voltage of your electrical network, please consult your dealer or local electricity company.
- Type A equipment with a Class I plug must be connected to a protective earth.
- A power supply cord of at least H03VV-F or H05VV-F, 2G or 3G, 0.75 mm² must be used.
- Use only the BenQ supplied power cord. Never use a power cord that is damaged or frayed.
- To prevent possible damage to the monitor, do not use it in areas with an unstable power supply.
- Before turning on the monitor, ensure that the power cord is plugged into a grounded outlet.
- To avoid potential hazards, when using an extension cord with multiple sockets, respect the total electrical load.
- Always turn off the monitor before unplugging the power cord.
For models with adapter:
- Use only the power adapter supplied with your LCD monitor. Using a different type of power adapter will lead to failure or risk.
- When using the adapter to power the device or charge the battery, allow adequate ventilation around the adapter. Do not cover the power adapter with paper or other objects to avoid hindering cooling. Do not use the power adapter when it is in your bag.
- Plug the power adapter into the correct power source.
- Do not attempt to repair the power adapter. There are no repairable parts inside. If the adapter is damaged or has been exposed to excessive moisture, replace it.

Troubleshooting
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Display
? The image is blurry.
- Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). Refer to the "Adjusting Screen Resolution" section. Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and make settings according to these instructions.
- If you are using a VGA extension cable, remove the extension cable for testing. Is the image sharp now? Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). Refer to the "Adjusting Screen Resolution" section. Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and make settings according to these instructions to optimize the image. Some blurring of the image due to loss in the extension cable is normal. You can minimize these losses by using a cable with lower resistance or by using a built-in amplifier.
? Does the blurry image only occur at resolutions lower than the native (maximum) resolution?
- Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). Refer to the "Adjusting Screen Resolution" section. Select the native resolution.
? Pixel defects are visible.
- One or more pixels are always black, one or more pixels are always white, one or more pixels are always red, green, blue, or other colors.
- Clean the monitor screen.
- Turn the power off and on again.
- These are pixels that are always on or off; this is a natural defect that occurs in LCD technology.
? The image has incorrect colors.
- It has a yellow, blue, or pink tint.
- Go to Color and Reset Color, then select YES to restore color settings to factory defaults.
If the image is still not correct, and the on-screen display (OSD) menu also does not have correct colors, it means that one of the three primary colors is missing in the input signal. Now check the connectors on the data (signal) cable. If any pin is bent or broken, please contact your dealer for the necessary support.
? The image is distorted, flickering, or blinking.
- Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). Refer to the "Adjusting Screen Resolution" section. Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and make settings according to these instructions.
? The image is shifted in one direction.
- Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). Refer to the "Adjusting Screen Resolution" section. Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and make settings according to these instructions.
? A slight shadow of a static image is visible on the screen.
- Activate the power saving function so that the computer and monitor enter "sleep mode" with low power consumption when not actively used.
- Use a screen saver to prevent image retention.
Power LED Indicator
? The LED indicator is solid white or orange.
- If the LED indicator is solid white, the monitor is on.
- If the LED indicator is solid white and the screen displays a "No Signal" message, it means you are using a display mode that this monitor does not support, so switch to one of the supported modes. Download the Resolution file from the website (see Product Support on page 3). Refer to the "Adjusting Screen Resolution" section. Then, select the correct resolution, refresh rate, and make settings according to these instructions.
- If the LED indicator is orange, the power saving mode is active. Press any key on the computer keyboard or move the mouse. If this does not help, check the data (signal) cable connectors. If any pin is bent or broken, please contact your dealer for the necessary support.
- If the LED indicator is off, check the power outlet, external power adapter, and the monitor's power switch.
OSD Controls
? OSD controls are inaccessible.
- To unlock the OSD settings, if the OSD menu is locked, press and hold any button for 5 seconds.
? How to change the OSD language?
- The OSD language can only be selected during initial setup. To change the OSD language, you must reset the settings. For more information, see the Resetting Settings section on page 21.
OSD Messages
? "No Signal" message on the screen during computer startup.
