Hotmoon Trio Pro Smart Sound Machine User Guide
Start Your New Sleep
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using your Hotmoon Trio Pro Smart Sound Machine.
Step 1: Download and Register the APP
Download the Hotmoon app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, then create or log in to your account.
Note:
- For Android versions below 12, geographic location permission is required to connect via Bluetooth. This will not be used to record personal data.
- The Hotmoon app is regularly updated; follow in-app instructions for any changes.

Step 2: Plug it in
Connect the device to a power adapter with an output voltage of 12V/1A using the USB-C cable.
Step 3: Connect Your Trio Pro
Press the power button on the device to power it on.
Open the Hotmoon APP and follow the in-app steps to connect your Trio Pro.
Note:
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone.

Things to Try

Triomix
Tap your device card in the app, go to the Sound page, and select "Triomix." Choose any three sounds and adjust their volumes. Save your custom mix to Favorites, Routines, or Schedules.

Customize a Routine
Create your routine by modifying defaults or customizing with library sounds. Once set up, tap the routine button to start your routine – No Phone Required.

Adjust Clock Brightness
Tap the settings icon ⚙️ in the upper right corner of the 'My Plan' page to adjust.

Bluetooth Speaker Mode
Press the mode switch button on the bottom of the device. Wait for the "Bluetooth Speaker Mode" voice prompt. Check your phone's Bluetooth settings and connect to 'Trio Pro Speaker'.

Adjust the Voice Prompt Volume
After pairing, tap the settings icon ⚙️ on the 'My Plan' page, then 'Prompt Tone Volume' and adjust the slider.

Buttons

- Routine Button: Tap when ready to rest. Seamlessly transitions through programmed routine steps. Skip to the next step by tapping again. Sound, light, and duration can be customized in the app, with up to 8 combos settable.
- Brightness Down Button: Press to decrease brightness. Press and hold (2s) for continuous dimming.
- Brightness Up Button: Press to increase brightness. Press and hold (2s) for continuous brightening.
- Alarm Toggle: Left side disables all scheduled alarms without using your phone. Right side enables all scheduled alarms without using your phone.
- Light Button: Press to turn the light on/off. Press and hold (2s) for continuous brightening.
- Play/Pause Button: Press to play/pause sound.
- Volume Down Button: Press to lower volume. Press and hold (2s) for continuous volume decrease.
- Volume Up Button: Press to raise volume. Press and hold (2s) for continuous volume increase.
- Device Pair: Press and hold buttons 8 and 13 for 2 seconds to restore factory settings. The warm light will flash, indicating the device is ready to pair.
- DC Power Input Port: DC 12V-1A
- Reset Hole: Press and hold for 2 seconds to force shutdown and restart.
- Child Lock Button: Press and hold for 1 second to toggle child lock on/off. When enabled, a child lock icon appears on the clock panel.
- Mode Switch Button: Press to toggle between Bluetooth Speaker Mode and Sound Machine Mode.

- 14 AM/PM Icon: Synchronizes with the connected phone's system time and illuminates the corresponding AM or PM indicator.
- 15 Sound Machine Mode Icon: When lit, the device is operating in Sound Machine Mode.
- 16 Snooze Icon: When lit, snooze mode is activated, temporarily pausing the alarm.
- 17 Bluetooth Speaker Mode Icon: When lit, the device is in Bluetooth speaker mode.
- 18 Alarm Off Icon: When lit, all scheduled alarms are turned off.
- 19 Child Lock Icon: When lit, child lock is enabled, and all buttons are disabled.
Snooze
When the alarm sounds, any touch button functions as a Snooze button. You can hold any button to stop the alarm.
The wake-up alarm volume gradually fades in to 5% over 30 seconds, gently easing you into wakefulness.
You can set the wake-up alarm to start 10, 15, or 20 minutes before the get-up alarm.
By default, each snooze lasts 9 minutes and can repeat up to 3 times – both settings are adjustable in the app.
If left untouched, the alarm will automatically turn off after 1 hour.

Safety Warning
Please always keep the device at least one meter away from children as the cord can pose a strangulation hazard.
This product is not waterproof. Do not use it near or place it in water.
Do not place this device aloft. When placing it on the table, please avoid the edges to prevent it from falling down, which might damage the device and also cause potential hurt.
FCC Warning
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
FCC Radiation Exposure Statement:
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body.
