Thank you for choosing Hotmoon. Hotmoon provides personalized sleep solutions through sound-light combination machines and a companion app, featuring a curated content library. The Cocoon Pro offers over 200 classic noises and nature sounds, plus over 300 brainwaves and melodies for relaxation, and more than 50 professional light options to help calm your mind. Hotmoon is dedicated to providing the key to a good night's sleep.

2. Buttons
- ① Routine: Tap to start your programmed Routine. Tap again to skip to the next step. Sound, light, and duration can be customized in the app, with up to 8 combos.
- ② Noise Sounds: Tap to switch between up to 9 customized noise sounds.
- ③ Nature Sounds: Tap to switch between up to 9 customized nature sounds.
- ④ Music: Tap to switch between up to 9 customized music tracks.
- ⑤ Power: Tap to turn on or switch to standby mode.
- ⑥ Volume: Tap for Volume down. Tap and hold for 2s for continuous volume down.
- ⑦ Volume +: Tap for Volume up. Tap and hold for 2s for continuous volume up.
- ⑧ Light: Tap to cycle through 8 options: 20% warm white, 100% warm white, red, orange, green, blue, purple, and off. Hold for 2s to turn off the light.
- ⑨ Clock: After pairing with your phone, the clock automatically sets its time. Brightness and display period can be adjusted in the app.
- ⑩ Mode Switch: Press to switch between Sound Machine Mode and Bluetooth Speaker Mode. Long press for 3s to enter pairing status.
Note: Sound Machine Mode is the default. Bluetooth Speaker Mode allows playing audio from the 'Cloud' column via the device.

Part 2 - Sound Machine Mode
1. Download the Hotmoon App
Scan the QR code [QR code for app download] or search for "Hotmoon" in the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). The app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Note: For Android OS below 12, geographic location permission is required for Bluetooth connection. This data is not used to record personal information.
The Hotmoon App is continually improved; follow in-app instructions for any differences.
2. Create/Login Your Hotmoon Account
Open the Hotmoon app. Tap "Log in" if you have an account, or "Create an Account" if you do not.
3. Connect Your Cocoon Pro
- Connect the device to a 5V/1A power adapter using the USB-C cable.
- Tap the power button to turn on the device. If it's the first use, the white light will flash. Otherwise, press and hold the device's bottom button until the white light flashes.
- Follow the steps in the app to connect your Cocoon Pro. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on. Tap "Add Device".
In sound machine mode, content from the "Cloud" section can only be played on your phone.
Part 3 - Bluetooth Speaker Mode
- Press the mode switch button at the bottom of the device. You will hear the prompt "Bluetooth Speaker Mode". Cocoon Pro will function as a Bluetooth speaker.
- Go to the Bluetooth page in your phone's "Settings" and connect to "Cocoon Pro Speaker".
In Bluetooth speaker mode, content from the "Cloud" section can be played on the device. To switch back to Sound Machine Mode, press the mode switch button.

How to customize the sound buttons?
Customize sound buttons through the app. Choose any single sound or album to replace the default. Refer to the "User Guide" in the "Device" column in the app. Sections can be sorted, edited, enabled, or disabled. At least 1 and up to 9 sections can be enabled. Tapping or holding a sound button plays the next enabled sound.

How to customize my Routine?
In the app, tap "Edit", then tap a section to edit. Hold the [drag handle icon] on the left to adjust sequence, and disable sections using the [disable icon] on the right. Tap "Save". Sections can be sorted, edited, enabled, and disabled. If duration is "00:00", the section plays continuously. Cocoon Pro waits for a button press to play the next section. At least 1 and up to 9 sections can be enabled. Tapping or holding the [routine button icon] plays the next enabled section. After all sections play, Cocoon Pro enters standby. Tap the [power button icon] to restart.

How to adjust the clock brightness?
Tap the "Settings" icon in the app. On the "Device Settings" page, tap "Clock Brightness" to set brightness and display period. Tap the "Back" icon to return to the homepage.

How to stop my Schedule?
Tap any button on the device to stop the Schedule playback.

How to pair again after disconnection?
Press and hold the button at the device's bottom until the white light flashes, indicating pairing mode. Start from "Add Device" in the app and follow the steps. Wi-Fi is required.

How long do the buttons' backlights last?
Button backlights automatically turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity and can be woken by tapping any button.

What do sound machine mode and Bluetooth speaker mode mean?
Sound machine mode: Control and customize Cocoon Pro, but "Cloud" content plays only on your phone. Bluetooth speaker mode: Cocoon Pro acts as a Bluetooth speaker, playing "Cloud" content.

Why do I need to offer geographic location permission?
For Android systems below OS 12, geographic location permission is required for Bluetooth connection. This data is not used for personal information recording.

I cannot unlock the VIP content of the Hotmoon app.
Only the account paired with Cocoon Pro can unlock VIP content. If Cocoon Pro is transferred, the new account must pair to unlock VIP features.

How to turn off the sound or light separately?
To turn off sound: hold the [sound off button icon] until sound is off. To turn off light: hold the [light off button icon] until light is off.
