GH9135 ELECTRONIC MANUAL TAP TIMER

Shaping outdoor life.

Introduction

The Nakayama Pro GH9135 electronic manual tap timer offers convenient, set-and-forget garden watering. Simply program the desired watering duration and frequency, and the GH9135 will manage the rest.

Key Features

Operating Instructions

  1. Install 2 new AAA ALKALINE batteries in the battery compartment. Using old batteries will reduce the overall operational time of the timer. To open the battery compartment, squeeze the levers together.
  2. Test the unit's operation by turning the Run Time dial to the "ON" position. The timer mechanism should operate within a few seconds.
  3. Program your timer before connecting it to the tap.
  4. Use the FREQUENCY dial to set how often you want to water.
  5. Use the RUN TIME dial to set how long you want to water.
  6. Ensure the cover is firmly screwed onto the timer.
  7. Fit the 3/4" tap connector or the 1" adaptor to your garden tap. If using the 1" adaptor, attach it directly to the tap.
  8. Loosen the collar until the fitted 3/4" tap connector is loose. Hold the timer steady with one hand and fit it to the tap.
  9. Hand tighten the collar until secure. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
  10. Turn on the water supply.

Note: Watering will commence after the first programmed "frequency cycle" has passed. For example, if the Frequency Dial is set to 1 hour, the first watering cycle will start one hour after setting the program and will continue hourly thereafter.

Using "ON" allows water to flow from the tap.

Using "OFF" prevents water flow from the tap, even if the tap is open.

Settings/Programs

Once attached to the tap, simply select your watering frequency and run time. The dials can be turned clockwise or anti-clockwise without damaging the mechanism.

Time Delay Feature

You can delay your watering start time using the Time Delay Feature. Use the point of a pen to depress the button for each hour you wish to delay watering. You can delay watering in 1-hour intervals, up to a maximum of 12 hours. For example, to delay watering for 3 hours, depress the Time Delay button 3 times.

Low Battery Indicator

The Low Battery Indicator light flashes continuously while the batteries have sufficient power to operate the timer. When battery power is low, the indicator light will remain on, and the valve will shut off. The light will go out when the battery is completely depleted.
