KOMPLEMENT Drawer System Assembly Instructions

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA KOMPLEMENT drawer system. Ensure you have all parts and tools before beginning.

Assembly Steps

Step 1

Prepare side panels and base.

Insert two (2x) dowels (118331) into the designated holes on the side panels. Attach the side panels to the base panel using screws.

Step 2

Connect front and back panels.

Insert four (4x) dowels (101350) into the front and back panels. Connect these panels to the assembled side and base structure.

Step 3

Install cam locks.

Insert two (2x) cam locks (103430) into the pre-drilled holes on the side panels. Ensure the arrow on the cam lock points towards the edge.

Step 4

Insert drawer bottom.

Slide the drawer bottom panel into the grooves of the assembled drawer frame. ➡️

Step 5

Secure drawer front.

Align the drawer front with the frame and turn the cam locks (103430) clockwise ↪️ to secure it. ❌ Do not force.

Step 6

Attach drawer runners to drawer sides.

Attach the drawer runners (part of 110661) to the sides of the drawer box using four (4x) screws (110519). Ensure they are oriented correctly.

Step 7

Attach secondary drawer runner components.

Attach the secondary runner components (110670) to the drawer sides using two (2x) screws (110670). These typically connect to the main runner assembly.

Step 8

Attach cabinet runners to cabinet.

Mount the cabinet runners (110661) to the interior side panels of the cabinet using four (4x) screws (109067). Ensure correct placement and alignment based on the cabinet's pre-drilled holes.

Step 9

Position cabinet runners.

Slide the cabinet runners into their final positions within the cabinet. ➡️

Step 10

Insert drawer into cabinet.

Carefully align the drawer runners on the drawer with the cabinet runners and slide the drawer into the cabinet. ⬇️

Step 11

Secure drawer to cabinet runners.

Secure the drawer to the cabinet runners using two (2x) screws (110670). This often involves engaging a locking mechanism on the runner. ⚙️
