Deerma DX900 Vacuum Cleaner

The vacuum cleaner is composed of the following parts:

Announcements and Safety Precautions

  1. Vacuum cleaner is an electric appliance; it must be used in accordance with the conditions of the specification, which must be properly preserved for future reference.
  2. Check and confirm that the vacuum cleaner's voltage must be consistent with the power supply voltage.
  3. Do not inhale the following objects, as they may damage the vacuum cleaner or cause a fire, resulting in personal injury and other accidents:
    • A. Heating objects, such as carbon fire, etc.
    • B. Cut sharp fragments, such as glass, etc.
    • C. Harmful objects or water and liquids (solvents, corrosive agents, etc.).
    • D. Flammable and explosive substances, such as gasoline or alcohol products.
  4. To clean, repair, or temporarily stop using the vacuum cleaner, disconnect the power supply. When disconnecting the power supply, do not pull the power line; instead, grasp the plastic part of the plug to pull it out.
  5. Avoid immersing the vacuum cleaner in water, and keep it away from heating equipment or exposure to prevent fire.
  6. Do not allow children to play with the vacuum cleaner to avoid accidents.
  7. Please do not use the vacuum cleaner in the following situations:
    • A. If it has fallen and appears obviously damaged or is not running normally.
    • B. If the power cord is broken.
    In these cases, do not start the machine. Hand it over to the company's designated maintenance department for repair in a timely manner.
  8. Avoid prolonged running with a blocked suction mouth to prevent motor damage and vacuum cleaner heating deformation.
  9. This product's power line and motor use a Y-type connection. If the power line is damaged, it must be replaced using special equipment or sent to a professional maintenance department.

Polarized Plug

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

Product Use Modes

Handle Push Mode

Follow these steps for handle push mode:

  1. Press the dust cup button, take out the dust cup to ensure there is a filter inside. Ensure all parts are connected together, fasten, and set the power switch to "0/OFF" before using.
  2. Install the handgrip: Open the handle button, insert the handgrip into the main body, then rotate slowly until it reaches the bottom, then release the button and fasten it to the handle assembly.
  3. Insert the floor brush according to figure 3 and confirm it's fastened.
  4. Insert the power plug into the power supply socket, turn on the switch; the machine starts work.
  5. Turn off the machine and unplug it.
  6. Roll the power cord to the power cord hook and store the machine upright.

Compact Vacuum Cleaner Mode

Follow these steps for compact vacuum cleaner mode:

  1. Spin the power cord hook to unwind the power cord.
  2. Remove the handgrip.
  3. Remove the floor nozzle.
  4. Insert the 2 in 1 brush.
  5. Insert the plug into the outlet. Turn on the switch (ON).
  6. Turn off the switch (OFF). Unplug the plug from the outlet.
  7. Press and hold one side release button and make the dust cup incline; remove the dust cup when the release button is away from the button placement.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Routine Maintenance

Open the dust cup, take out the filter, wash it by water, and dry it naturally.

Notes

  • The filter should be cleaned monthly and washed immediately when there are obvious sediments.
  • The filter should be installed correctly and be dry before using.
  • Make sure the steel core and HEPA sponge are in good condition before using.
