Function

The Preset Mini Heater is a small aquarium heater with a thermostat set to a fixed temperature of 26°C. Tropical fish live in warm water at around 26°C, and this underwater heater will heat the aquarium water to this desired constant temperature.

Installation

Install the heater with the suction cups in the aquarium.
Install the heater completely submerged. The maximum operating depth is 1 metre. The heater switches off automatically when not fully submerged.
Allow the thermostat of the heater to acclimate for about 5 minutes with the water temperature.
Turn on the heater by plugging it into the socket. Ensure that no water can get close to the socket.
Always check the water temperature with an aquarium thermometer. Even though the heater has a temperature accuracy of ± 0.5°C, small deviations are always possible.

Maintenance

Clean the heater regularly. If lime scale accumulates, clean with a descaling agent. After cleaning, rinse the heater thoroughly with clean tap water.
