Safety Instructions

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

  • Make sure the voltage of your mains supply matches the voltage requirements specified in the rating label of the appliance.
  • This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the Technical Support Service of Cecotec or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.
  • ⚠️ WARNING: to avoid overheating, do not cover the appliance.
  • The heating appliance must not be placed immediately below a socket outlet.
  • Do not use the heating appliance in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower, or swimming pool.
  • Do not use this heating appliance if it has been dropped.
  • Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heating appliance.
  • Use this heating appliance on a horizontal and stable surface, or fix it to the wall, as applicable.
  • Keep the device out of the reach of children under 3 years old, unless constantly supervised.
  • Children between 3 and 8 years old should only switch the appliance on or off when it has been placed in its normal, intended operating position and if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children between 3 and 8 years old should not plug in, adjust, and clean the appliance and should not carry out maintenance tasks.
  • CAUTION: some of the product's parts may become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention should be paid when children and/or vulnerable people are present.
  • WARNING: do not use this heating device in small rooms that are occupied by people who cannot leave the room by themselves, unless permanent supervision is provided.
  • WARNING: to reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or other flammable material at least 1 m away from the air outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow objects to enter through the ventilation openings, as this may result in electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water. Always make sure that your hands are dry before operating or adjusting any switches on the product or touching the plug and socket.
  • Never leave the device unattended during use.
  • One of the most common causes of overheating is the building up of debris or fluff in the appliance. Be sure to clean these accumulations periodically by vacuuming the vents and grilles.
  • Do not place the appliance on carpets, and do not place the cable under carpets. Position the cord in such a way as to avoid obstructing passage and cause tripping hazards.
  • Do not store it until it cools down. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • When using, maintain a minimum distance of 50 cm between the window and the wall.

Before Use

  • The device is packaged to protect it during transport. Remove the device from its box and all packaging materials. Keep the original box and packaging for future transport. Recycle packaging materials appropriately.
  • Ensure all parts and components are included and in good condition. Contact Cecotec Technical Support immediately if any are missing or damaged.

Operation

Assembly

  • Fit the two parts of the bracket together and slide the upper part to the left (Figure 4).
  • Place the main frame on a stable table, with the bottom slightly protruding over the edge.
  • Align the four holes on the bottom of the frame with the four holes on the bracket and screw the bracket on by hand using the provided screws. Do not overtighten.
  • Ensure the bracket is straight and firmly attached.
  • Place the device in the bracket.

Operating the Heater

  1. Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
  2. Press the on/off switch on the back. The heater will enter Standby mode, beep, and display the room temperature.
  3. Press the on/off touch icon on the control panel or the power selector button on the remote control to choose a mode:
    • Medium Power: Press once. The indicator light turns blue.
    • High Power: Press a second time. The indicator light turns red.
    • Standby: Press a third time. The indicator light turns off (display remains on). The heater will expel remaining hot air for 15 seconds, showing a countdown and flashing 3 times at "00" before returning to the room temperature display.
  4. Press the oscillation touch icon to activate or deactivate oscillation.
  5. Press the timer touch icon to set the timer (1-24 hours).
  6. Press the temperature touch icon to adjust the temperature (15-40°C). Press again to cancel the preset temperature.

The heater will automatically switch off if the ambient temperature exceeds 50°C.

Operating Notes:

  • If the set temperature is 4°C higher than the room temperature, the heater will operate in high power mode until the set temperature is reached.
  • If the set temperature is 2-3°C higher than the room temperature, the heater will operate in medium power mode until the set temperature is reached.
  • The heater will stop operating when the room temperature is 2°C higher than the set temperature.
  • Press and hold the temperature and timer touch icons for 3 seconds, or press the lock button, to activate/deactivate the lock function.
  • Press and hold the oscillation button to put the display to sleep and turn off the light. Press any button to reactivate the display.

Remote Control Functions:

  • Power button: Turns the device on/off.
  • Oscillation button: Activates/deactivates oscillation.
  • Timer button: Sets the timer (1-24 hours).
  • Power selector button: Selects medium power (blue indicator), high power (red indicator), or standby (off indicator).
  • Temperature button: Adjusts temperature (15-40°C).
  • Lock button: Locks/unlocks the device.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Ensure the heater is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning or maintenance.
  • Clean the heater with a soft cloth and neutral detergent. Dry thoroughly. Do not use solvents.
  • Clean only the exterior surfaces.
  • Ensure the heater is completely dry before use or storage.
  • Clean and store in a dry place if not in use for extended periods.
