Usage Environment and Comfort

Wireless LAN cards and Bluetooth devices emit radio frequency electromagnetic waves, similar to other wireless devices. However, the impact of these electromagnetic waves on the human body is very low, unlike devices used in direct contact with the head, such as mobile phones.

Wireless LAN cards and Bluetooth devices operate in accordance with radio frequency safety standards and guidelines. Lenovo believes that consumers can safely use the built-in wireless card. These standards and recommendations reflect the consensus of scientific bodies and the results of frequent reviews and studies of extensive scientific literature.

Depending on the situation or environment, building owners or organizational representatives may restrict the use of wireless LAN cards or Bluetooth devices. Examples include:

Using the built-in wireless card near such equipment or devices.

In situations where interference with other devices or functions is recognized or confirmed to be harmful.

If you are unsure whether wireless device use is permitted in a specific location (e.g., airports or hospitals), please ask before powering on your IdeaTab and using the wireless LAN card or Bluetooth device.
