Introduction

Club coaxial and component speakers bring JBL pro sound to more vehicles. Their compact design means they'll fit into more vehicles than many competitors, and their high sensitivity delivers outstanding performance even with modestly-powered factory systems. Rugged polypropylene cones with the Plus One™ design deliver hard-hitting bass and long performance life. Edge-driven silk dome tweeters deliver broader and smoother high-frequency response, never-harsh regardless of output level. The Starfish™ Tweeter Mounting Adapter and I-Mount™ Tweeter Mounting Kit are included with component speaker systems for easy installation. They are available in a range of standard sizes — 3", 4", 5-1/4", 6-1/2", 6" x 8", 4" x 6", 6" x 9", and 3/4" — making them the perfect upgrade from factory speakers.

• Plus One™ Woofer Cone Architecture: Patented (US patent #7,548,631) Plus One™ cones provide more overall speaker-cone area than other speakers for the same size, resulting in higher sensitivity, increased low-frequency output, and greater musical character.
• Edge-driven Silk Dome Tweeter: The Club 422F, Club 522F, Club 622, Club 8622F, Club 9632 feature a full, edge-driven silk dome tweeter, which delivers a broader and smoother high-frequency response, never-harsh regardless of output level compared to more commonly used w-domes.

• Special Tweeter Pod Design for Acoustic Adjustment on Different Listening Position: The Club 602CTP Component Speaker system includes the Starfish™ Tweeter Mounting Adapter and I-Mount™ Tweeter Mounting Kit, plus a new installation possibility: the Tweeter Pod. It is easy to install and, more importantly, the tweeter pod can adjust the angle up and down even after mounting, allowing control of the acoustic performance for different listening positions.
• Starfish™ Tweeter Mounting Adapter: The Club 602C component Speaker system comes with the Starfish™ tweeter mounting adapter. It allows for easy installation of the tweeter behind factory grilles and in locations such as an A-Pillar. It also provides six break-off mounting tabs to accommodate many mounting configurations. The tweeter can be surface- or flush-mounted and easily serviced without removing the whole assembly.
• I-Mount™ Tweeter Mounting Kit: The I-Mount™ (patent no. 5,859,917) tweeter-mounting system allows easy and versatile installation of tweeters in component systems. It includes a flush cup and surface-mount hardware. With a 1-3/4" cutout and a 1" mounting depth, installation is simplified. This allows the tweeter to be flush-mounted and angled up to ±40 degrees. Locknuts are included to keep everything in place, and the tweeter can be replaced without removing the whole assembly.
