How to install
Notice! Plug the Micro USB properly.

Step 1. Remove the Xbox One controller battery cover and take out the batteries.
Step 2. Place X One Adapter into Xbox One controller.
How to charge the battery and the LED display
Step 1. Plug in with Micro USB cable.
Step 2.
- In charging: Red light
- Fully Charged: Blue light
Device mode and pairing instruction
How to switch between different modes:
- When X One Adapter is off, long press the Brook Key for about 2 seconds until the Brook Key LED starts to flash.
- When the Brook Key LED starts to flash, long press the combo keys until the LED goes off to switch to according mode.

Turbo Setting
Turbo function available buttons: A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT, LTSB, RTSB, Paddles (1, 2, 3, 4), in total 14 buttons (referred to as FK). For paddles, you need to clear the original setting on Xbox One before setting turbo on them.
- Enter Mode: Press + View (Xbox).
- Set Turbo Key: Press + FK (multiple). When the View button is pressed, the pressed FK buttons will be set to have turbo function. Example: View + A, X, LB...
- Cancel Turbo Key: Simply pressing the indicated button without pressing View. Example: A, X, LB...
- Confirm Turbo Key Menu: Press Menu.
- Exit Setting: Press View.
Note: Cancel All Turbo Setting: Press + View Menu. Cancel all turbo settings in Enter Mode.
After step 5 (Exit Setting), press Brook Key + Menu (LED display will go off) to save the Turbo setting.
Remap Setting
Remap function available buttons: A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT, LTSB, RTSB, in total 14 buttons (referred to as FB).
- Enter Mode: Press + Menu (Xbox).
- Remap Button: Press the button you want to remap (FB). Example: press X.
- Button Selection: Press the desired button combination. Example: Set X to ( + A + B). When the View button is pressed, the pressed FB buttons will all be set. Example: View + ( + A + B).
- Confirm Remap Setting Menu: Press Menu.
- Exit Setting: Press View.
Note: Cancel All Remap Setting: Press + View Menu. Cancel all remap settings in Enter Mode.
After step 5 (Exit Setting), press Brook Key + Menu (LED display will go off) to save the Remap setting.
On PS4
Wired
- Set X One Adapter in PS4 mode (+A).
- Connect X One Adapter to PS4 directly with a USB cable.
- Short press the Xbox key.
Wireless
For the first time use: After completing wired use (steps 1-3), disconnect the USB cable, and short press the Brook Key to awake the controller for use.
For future use: Short press the Brook Key to awake the controller for wireless use.
When X One Adapter and PS4 are off: Short press the Brook Key to boot the PS4.
On Switch
Wired
- Set X One Adapter in Switch mode (+B).
- On Switch, go to System Settings > Controllers and Sensors, and turn ON "Pro Controller Wired Communication".
- Connect X One Adapter to Switch dock directly with a USB cable.
Wireless - Pairing Method 1
For the first time use:
- Go to Controllers > "Change Grip/Order".
- Disconnect the USB cable.
- Long press the Brook Key for about 2 seconds for pairing.
For future use: When Switch has turned on, short press the Brook Key to awake the controller for wireless use.
Wireless - Pairing Method 2
- Set X One Adapter in Switch mode (+B).
- Connect X One Adapter to Switch directly with a USB cable.
- Short press the Xbox key.
For the first time use: After completing wired use (steps 1-3), disconnect the USB cable, and short press the Brook Key to awake the controller for use.
For future use: Short press the Brook Key to awake the controller for wireless use.
If it cannot be successfully paired: Reboot Switch and do it again.
On Xbox One
Wired
- Change to Xbox One mode (+RB).
- Connect X One Adapter to Xbox One directly with a USB cable.
Wireless
*Make sure the controller has synced with the Xbox One console before.
Pairing Method 1:
- Set X One Adapter in Xbox One mode (+X).
- Short press the Brook Key, then immediately press and hold the Xbox Key until the pairing is completed.
When Xbox One is off, it can also boot the Xbox One.
Pairing Method 2:
- Set X One Adapter in Xbox One mode (+X).
- Press and hold the Xbox Key, then short press the Brook Key, it will start to pair with Xbox One. When Xbox One is off, it can also boot the Xbox One.
On PC
Wired
- Set X One Adapter in PC mode (+RB).
- Connect X One Adapter to PC directly with a USB cable.
Wireless (Bluetooth)
- Change to PC mode (+RB).
- Go to Bluetooth on PC > "Add Bluetooth or other device". Then, PC will start to search for Bluetooth device.
- When Xone Adapter is off, long press the Brook Key for about 2 seconds until the Brook Key LED starts to flash.
- Find "Brook Xone Adapter" for pairing.
- After pairing is successful, you can test the functionality in Devices and Printers.
*You only need to set Xone Adapter up for the first time. For future use, make sure the Bluetooth on PC has turned on, and short press the Brook Key to awake the controller. Then, it will connect to PC with Bluetooth wirelessly.
Cautions
- Please keep away from electrical conductive objects.
- Please do not disassemble the battery or place it in high temperature environment.
- Please recycle the battery when you don't use it.
