Product Overview
The sensor unit features a front-facing detection lens, a multi-color status LED indicator, and a reset button on the back. The LED provides visual feedback on the sensor's status.

Installation and Setup
Follow these steps to install and set up your GoveeLife Smart Presence Sensor:
- Download the Govee Home App: Search for "Govee Home" in your device's app store (Apple App Store ? or Google Play Store ?) and install it.
- Prepare the Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the sensor and insert the included 2 x AA batteries, observing correct polarity. Close the compartment.
- Add Device in App: Open the Govee Home app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device, and select "Smart Presence Sensor H5127".
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the sensor to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same network during setup. The LED will flash blue during connection.
- Mount the Sensor: Choose a suitable location. The sensor can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall using the provided bracket and screws. For optimal detection, mount it approximately 1.5 to 2 meters (5-6.5 ft) high, facing the area you wish to monitor. Avoid placing it directly opposite heat sources or air vents.
- Configuration: Once connected, you can configure detection sensitivity, notification settings, and automation rules within the Govee Home app.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, try the following:
- Sensor Not Responding: Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. Check if the sensor is within Wi-Fi range. Try resetting the sensor by pressing the reset button on the back for 5 seconds.
- False Detections: Adjust the sensor's sensitivity settings in the Govee Home app. Ensure the sensor is not placed near heat sources, moving objects (like curtains in a draft), or direct sunlight which can cause false triggers.
- Connection Issues: Verify your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Restart your router and the sensor. Ensure the Wi-Fi password entered is correct.
- App Not Updating: Close and reopen the Govee Home app. Ensure your phone has a stable internet connection.
