Safety Instructions
General Safety
- Only use the humidifier as described in this manual, and keep it out of reach from children.
- To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or other injuries, always follow all instructions and safety guidelines.
- Place the humidifier and cord so that it will not be knocked over. Do not place near large pieces of furniture or in high-traffic areas.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the humidifier or its components.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, always unplug the humidifier from power before cleaning it or detaching the water tank from the base.
- Always place the humidifier on a flat, horizontal surface before using.
- Do not place the humidifier near heat sources such as stovetops, ovens, or radiators.
- Do not place the humidifier directly on carpets or rugs.
- Do not use non-GoveeLife humidifier parts as replacement parts for this product.
- Do not cover the nozzle while the humidifier is on, as this may damage the humidifier.
- Remove the water tank from the base before moving the humidifier.
- Do not immerse the humidifier base, power cord or plug in water.
- Not for commercial use. Household use only.
- Do not use the humidifier in wet environments. Do not allow water or other liquids inside the air vent.
- If the humidifier will not be in use for an extended period, it should be turned off and unplugged from power.
- Do not use detergents to clean the humidifier. Only use distilled white vinegar.
- If the humidifier is damaged or is not functioning properly, stop using it and contact Customer Support immediately.
Adapter and Power Cord
- Place the humidifier near the electrical outlet it is plugged into.
- Never place the cord near any heat sources.
- Do not cover the cord with a rug, carpet, or other covering. Do not place the cord under furniture or appliances.
- Keep the cord out of areas where people frequently move around. Place the cord in places where it will not be tripped over.
- Only use original supplied power adapter.
- If the power adapter cord is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified persons in order to avoid an electric or fire hazard.
- Do not handle the power cord or plug with wet hands. Keep the power cord and plug away from liquids.
Caution: Only add essential oils to the aroma pad.

Introduction
Part Names
The humidifier unit features several key components:
- Nozzle: The mist outlet at the top.
- Top Cover: Covers the internal components and mist tube.
- Display Screen: Shows humidity levels, timer settings, and status indicators.
- Water Tank: Holds the water for humidification.
- Touch Buttons: Controls for power, mist level, timer, etc.
- Base: The lower part of the humidifier containing the fan and electronics.
- Night Light: An integrated light feature.
- Cleaning Brush: Included tool for maintenance.
- Power Adapter: Supplies power to the unit.
- Adapter Plug: Connects the power adapter to the wall outlet.
Additional components are visible from different views:
- Mist Tube: Carries mist from the atomizer to the nozzle.
- Water Filter: Filters water before atomization.
- Water Tank Handle: For lifting and carrying the water tank.
- Float: Indicates the water level.
- Atomizer Plate: Vibrates to create mist.
- Water Level Sensor: Detects water level in the tank.
- Air Outlet Damper: Regulates airflow.
- Magnet Ring: Secures parts.
- Non-Slip Pad: Prevents the unit from sliding.
- Aroma Pad: For adding essential oils.
- Aroma Box: Holds the aroma pad.
- DC Input Port: For connecting the power adapter.
- Thermo-hygrometer Sensor (Interior): Measures internal humidity and temperature.
- Air Inlet: Where air is drawn into the unit.
Functions & Controls
The humidifier can be controlled via touch buttons on the unit or through the Govee Home App.
Control Panel Overview
The control panel includes:
- On/Off Button [?]: Touch to turn the humidifier on or off. When powered off, the fan runs for 15 seconds to clear internal mist.
- Mist Level Button [?]: Cycle through Low, Medium, High mist levels, and Auto Mode. In Auto Mode, the humidifier adjusts mist output to maintain target humidity. More Auto Mode settings are available in the app. Using a Govee thermo-hygrometer is recommended for optimal humidity control.
- Timer Button [⏱️]: Set a timer from 1-24 hours for automatic shut-off. Touch to check the remaining time. Press and hold for two seconds to turn off the timer.
- Target Humidity Button [%]: Cycle through target humidity levels from 30-80%, increasing by 5% with each touch. The humidifier automatically enters Auto Mode when adjusting target humidity. A 1-3% margin of error may occur due to ambient changes.
- Night Light Button [?]: Touch to turn the night light on or off. More settings are available in the app.
- Lock Button [?]: Touch and hold for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the lock. When locked, buttons are unresponsive to prevent accidental changes, especially by children.
- Recovery Button: Touch and hold the Power and Mist Level buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to restore factory settings. This disconnects Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and reboots the humidifier. After restoring, remove the device from the Govee Home App to re-add it.

Note: Water percentage reflects the water level. 0% does not mean immediate mist stoppage.
Getting Started
- Remove all packaging, clear tape, and protective foams, especially from the base.
- Clean the water tank before first use.
- Place the humidifier on a hard, flat, water-resistant surface, at least 12 inches (30cm) away from walls. A diagram shows the humidifier placed with 12 inches clearance on all sides.
- Direct the mist away from walls, furniture, bedding, other appliances, and electronics. A diagram shows the humidifier emitting mist towards a lamp.
Filling & Refilling
Note: Change water at least every two days to prevent bacteria growth.
- Hold the nozzle and remove the top cover. A diagram shows this action.
- Fill the tank with room-temperature water, not warm or hot water. It is recommended to use purified or distilled water to avoid white dust from tap water minerals. A diagram shows filling the tank.
- Replace the water tank cover.
Caution:
- Do not fill past the tank's Max water line. A diagram shows the MAX fill line on the tank.
- Do not fill water into the mist tube or base. Diagrams show incorrect filling with a red cross [❌] symbol.
Essential Oils (Optional)
- Press to pop out the aroma box from the back of the base. A diagram shows this.
- Add 8 to 10 drops of essential oils on the aroma pad. Be careful not to spill oils outside the aroma box.
- Push the aroma box back into the humidifier. Always clean the aroma pad before adding new oils. Do not mix essential oils.
Caution: Do not add essential oils to the water tank or base. Only add essential oils to the aroma box. Diagrams show incorrect application with a red cross [❌] symbol.
Govee Home App
Access more features using the Govee Home App.
Downloading Govee Home App
Scan the QR code or search for “Govee” in the Apple App Store® (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) to download the app. The document shows icons representing the App Store and Google Play, and a QR code labeled "Govee Home App".
Note:
- Allow requested permissions for full app functionality. These permissions are not used for personal data tracking.
- App appearance may vary slightly due to updates; follow in-app instructions for any discrepancies.
Pairing with Govee Home App
- Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is on and connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz is not supported).
- Android users: Turn on Location Services. iOS users: Choose Location -> Always On.
- Open the Govee Home App, tap the [+] icon, and search for "H7145".
- Tap the device icon and follow in-app instructions to complete Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection.
Note:
- To disconnect Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, press and hold the Power and Mist Level buttons for 5 seconds to reset to factory settings, then remove the device from the app.
- The humidifier can connect to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant by following in-app instructions.
- The Govee Home App is continually updated.
Care & Maintenance
Note: Perform maintenance on a water-resistant surface. Clean the nozzle regularly. If not using for over a week, empty and dry the humidifier.
Cleaning Your Humidifier
Clean the water tank and base every 2-3 days or before storing.
Note: Never immerse the base in water. Do not use detergents.
- Unplug the power before cleaning.
- Hold the nozzle and remove the top cover for cleaning. A diagram shows this.
- Grab the water filter handle and unplug it upright. A diagram shows removing the filter.
- Take out the water tank and pour out water from both the tank and the base. Diagrams show emptying the tank and base.
- Rinse the tank and base chamber with room-temperature water. Diagrams show rinsing.
- Dry all parts with a cloth. Ensure all parts are correctly in place before use or storing. Make sure the water filter and float are in place to avoid malfunction.
Caution: Do not let water enter the air inlet or outlet, as this can damage internal components. If water enters, dry the base in a ventilated place. Diagrams show incorrect water entry with a red cross [❌] symbol.
Descaling Your Smart Humidifier
To remove mineral buildup:
- Fill the tank with 3 cups (710 ml) of distilled white vinegar or citric acid. A diagram shows filling with vinegar.
- Put the tank cover on and shake the vinegar in the tank. A diagram shows shaking.
- Place the tank on the base and let it sit for 15-20 minutes for the vinegar to loosen scale deposits. A diagram shows placing the tank on the base.
- Remove the tank and its cover, and pour out all the vinegar. Diagrams show emptying.
- Use a soft cloth and the included cleaning brush to remove scale from all parts. Diagrams show cleaning.
- Rinse all parts until the vinegar smell is gone.
- Dry all parts completely before reassembling or storing.
Cleaning the Aroma Pad
- Pull out the aroma box and remove the aroma pad.
- Rinse the pads under warm running water.
- Dry the pads with a clean cloth and place the pad back.
Replacing the Aroma Pad
If the aroma pad is stiff after cleaning, it needs replacement. Extra pads are included. Use only official GoveeLife aroma pads for optimal performance. Contact Customer Support for more information.
Storing
Follow cleaning instructions and dry all parts completely before storing the humidifier in a cool, dry place.

For Humidifier
