THROTTLE LEVER [130BT/150BT/170BT/180BT]
1. Set up the throttle holder to the swivel and tighten the screw on the holder. Match the holder to the convex on the swivel joint as shown in Figure F2.
2. Adjust the position and angle for a comfortable working position, and tighten the throttle lever.
(1) Cable (2) Hose
THROTTLE CABLE [130BT/150BT/170BT/180BT]
[130BT]: Fasten the throttle cable at the central position of the hose by the band attached to the throttle cable. Wrap the hose with the band from the lower side, then pass the band through a hole as shown in the figure. Be careful not to damage the hose by fastening the band too tightly.
[150BT] [170BT] [180BT]: Use the clamp to fasten the colgate tube containing the throttle cable and the power cable to the hose.
(1) Clamp
RIGHT HANDLE [150BF/170BF/180BF]

1. Insert the holder, then assemble the handlebar (OPTION) and tighten it securely.
BLOWER TUBES
1. Align the protrusion and groove on the tube ends and twist until the connection is locked.
? NOTE: A light lubricant may be used to ease assembly of the blower tube.
? NOTE: If a longer tube is required, connect the second straight pipe. If higher air speed is needed, replace the round blow pipe with the flat nozzle (option) with the second straight pipe.
(1) Flat nozzle (option)
HARNESS
? NOTE: The harness must always be worn when working with the machine. Failure to do so can result in injury. Adjust the harness for the best working position. Tighten side straps so pressure is evenly distributed across shoulders.
WAIST BELT [150BT/BF] [170BT/BF] [180BT/BF]
The waist belt attaches to rings on the left and right sides of the frame. (130BT has no waist belt.)
Place the waist belt around your waist, not too low on the stomach. Tighten the strap so the blower's weight rests on your hip. Be sure to tighten the buckle in front of your body.
⚠️ WARNING: If not using a waist belt, remove and store it. There is a risk the belt could be caught, toppling the unit, or be sucked into the fan.
Fuel
⚠️ WARNING: Gasoline is highly flammable. Avoid smoking or sparks near fuel. Stop the engine and allow it to cool before refueling. Refuel on bare ground, at least 10 ft (3m) away from the fueling point, before starting the engine.
Engines are lubricated by oil specifically formulated for air-cooled 2-cycle gasoline engines. Use Husqvarna oil or an antioxidant-added quality oil labeled for air-cooled 2-cycle use (JASO FC GRADE OIL or ISO EGC GRADE). Do not use BIA or TCW (2-stroke water-cooling type) mixed oil.
RECOMMENDED MIXING RATIO
GASOLINE 50 : OIL 1
Exhaust emissions are controlled by fundamental engine parameters. These engines are certified to operate on unleaded gasoline.
Use gasoline with a minimum octane number of 89 RON (USA/Canada: 87AL). Lower octane may cause engine temperature rise and potential seizing.
Unleaded gasoline is recommended for environmental and health reasons. Poor quality gasolines or oils may damage engine parts.
HOW TO MIX FUEL
ℹ️ IMPORTANT: Pay attention to agitation.
- Measure gasoline and oil quantities.
- Pour some gasoline into a clean, approved fuel container.
- Pour in all the oil and agitate well.
- Pour in the rest of the gasoline and agitate again for at least one minute. Insufficient agitation can lead to early piston seizing.
5. Indicate the contents on the container for easy identification.
FUELING THE UNIT
- Untwist and remove the fuel cap.
- Fill the fuel tank to 80% of its capacity.
- Fasten the fuel cap securely and wipe up any spillage.
⚠️ WARNING: Select bare ground for fueling. Move at least 10 feet (3 meters) away from the fueling point before starting the engine. Stop the engine and let it cool for a few minutes before refueling. Ensure mixed gasoline is sufficiently agitated. Do not smoke or place hot objects near fuel.
FOR YOUR ENGINE LIFE, AVOID:
- FUEL WITH NO OIL (RAW GASOLINE): Causes severe engine damage.
- GASOHOL: Can deteriorate rubber/plastic parts and disrupt lubrication.
- OIL FOR 4-CYCLE ENGINE USE: Can cause spark plug fouling, exhaust port blocking, or piston ring sticking.
- Mixed fuels left unused for over a month may clog the carburetor.
- When storing for a long period, clean the fuel tank and empty the carburetor.
- Scrap used mixed oil containers only at authorized sites.
? NOTE: For quality assurance details, refer to the Warranty section. Normal wear and changes without functional influence are not covered. Improper usage of mixed gasoline may void warranty.

⚠️ WARNING: Make sure the engine has stopped and is cool before performing any service. Contact with a rotating blower fan or hot muffler may result in personal injury.
AIR CLEANER
Check the air cleaner before use. A clogged filter increases fuel consumption and reduces engine power. Never operate without an air filter or with a deformed/broken element, as unfiltered air will damage the engine.
[170BT/BF] [180BT/BF]: Never clean the paper filter by tapping; this may break the element and damage the engine.
CLEANING AIR FILTER:
[130BT] (F29):
- Unscrew knob, remove air cleaner cover.
- Wash filter element in fresh, non-flammable cleaning solution (e.g., warm soapy water) and dry. (Clean weekly.)
- Reinstall filter, ensuring the screen is attached. A missing screen means improper sealing and dust entry into the cylinder.
- Hook cover slots onto body tabs and screw knob.
[150BT/BF] (F30):
- Unscrew 2 knobs, remove air cleaner cover.
- Wash filter element with neutral detergent and warm water, then dry completely. (Clean weekly.)
- Moisten filter element with a small amount of 2-cycle oil.
? NOTE: Do not use 4-cycle motor oil. Do not use mixture gasoline (low oil content). Soak filter element in 2-cycle oil, then squeeze out excess oil until it weighs 2-3 times its dry weight.
- Reinstall element into packing, set packing into air cleaner body. Ensure screen is attached properly.
- Reinstall air cleaner cover and screw knobs.
[170BT/BF] [180BT/BF] (F31):
- Unscrew 2 knob bolts, remove air cleaner cover, then remove prefilter.
- Wash prefilter in fresh, non-flammable cleaning solution (e.g., warm soapy water) and dry. (Clean weekly.)
- Exchange paper filter element if contaminated.
⚠️ WARNING: This prefilter is dry type. Never wash in oily solution or with oil. Do not tap clean the paper filter.
FUEL FILTER
A clogged fuel filter can cause poor acceleration. Check periodically for dirt. Remove using a small wire hook from the fueling port. Disconnect from fuel pipe, unhook retainer, and disassemble. Clean components with gasoline.

SPARK PLUG
The spark plug may gather carbon deposits. Remove and inspect every 25 hours. Clean electrodes with a wire brush. Adjust spark gap to 0.025 in (0.6 to 0.7mm).
Plug manufacturers recommend replacing the plug twice a year. Replacement plug: NGK CMR7H.
ℹ️ IMPORTANT: Using non-designated spark plugs may cause improper engine operation, overheating, or damage. Install by hand until tight, then tighten a quarter turn more with a socket wrench.
MUFFLER
⚠️ WARNING: Periodically inspect the muffler for loose fasteners, damage, or corrosion. If exhaust leakage is found, do not use the blower and have it repaired immediately.
- Remove muffler, insert screwdriver into vent, and wipe away carbon buildup. Wipe exhaust vent and cylinder exhaust port simultaneously.
- Tighten all screws, bolts, and fittings.
SPARK ARRESTER
The muffler has a spark arrester to prevent hot carbon from exiting the exhaust. Periodically inspect and clean with a wire brush.
(1) Bolt (2) Bolt (3) Spark Arrester (4) Diffuser
⚠️ WARNING: Before operation, ensure the muffler is properly held by bolts (2). Fastening Torque: [130BT] 7 to 11 N·m; [150BT/BF] [170BT/BF] [180BT/BF] 8 to 12 N·m. Ensure spark arrester and diffuser are attached with bolts (1). Fastening Torque: 2 to 3 N·m.
Maintenance
AIR INLET NET
ℹ️ IMPORTANT: Air is drawn through the air inlet net. If airflow drops, stop the engine and inspect the net for blockages. Failure to remove obstacles may cause engine overheating and damage.
(1) Net
⚠️ WARNING: Never use the blower without the net. Check before each use that the net is attached and undamaged.
IGNITION COIL AIR GAP INSPECTION
If the gap is inaccurate or when installing the coil or rotor, adjust the air gap between the ignition coil and the iron core of the rotor.
Air Gap:
- [130BT]: 0.35 mm (0.30 to 0.40 mm) / 0.014 in (0.012 to 0.016 in)
- [150BT/BF] [170BT/BF] [180BT/BF]: 0.40 mm (0.35 to 0.45 mm) / 0.016 in (0.014 to 0.017 in)

SHOLDER STRAP
If the shoulder strap is damaged, it may break during use, causing the product to fall and resulting in injury. To replace:
- Take off the clip from the strap.
- Pass the end of the strap through the hanger.
- Return the clip to the strap.
ℹ️ IMPORTANT: Ensure the thick round bar of the clip is in the strap. Incorrect attachment can lead to serious personal injury.
Storage
BEFORE STORING THE BLOWER:
- Drain the fuel tank and push the primer bulb until empty.
- Remove the spark plug, drop a spoonful of 2-cycle oil into the cylinder, crank the engine several times, and reinstall the spark plug.
- Store the unit in a dry, cool, dark, well-ventilated, dust-free place, out of reach of children.
