Victrola VTA-65 3-in-1 Bluetooth Record Player

Setup/Basic Operation

Setup:

  1. Remove the white protective needle cover by gently pulling it towards the front of the unit.
  2. Remove any packaging materials.
  3. Connect the power adapter to the DC Input jack to power on the unit.

Note: It is strongly recommended that this product be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label.

Basic Operation:

  1. Press the POWER button to turn the unit on.
  2. Select the desired mode (BT, PHONO, or FM) by turning the BT/PHONO/FM KNOB.
  3. Rotate the VOLUME KNOB to adjust the sound level.

Listening through RCA LINE OUT:

For amplifier device listening, first reduce the volume to minimum. Insert the white and red plugs of an RCA cable into the unit's LINE OUT jacks, then insert the opposite end into the amplifier device. Ensure the white plug connects to the white jack and the red plug to the red jack.

Listening through Earphones/Headphones (not included):

For private listening, first reduce the volume to minimum. Insert your headphones' plug into the 3.5mm jack, then adjust the volume up using the VOLUME KNOB. The unit's speakers will automatically deactivate when headphones are plugged in.

Condensation Warning:

When moving the unit between environments with different temperatures, condensation may form. Leave the unit plugged in for 1-2 hours to stabilize its temperature before operation to prevent damage.

Listening to a Vinyl Record

  1. Turn the unit ON using the POWER button.
  2. Turn the BT/PHONO/FM KNOB to enter PHONO mode.
  3. Gently open the dust cover.
  4. Place the record on the turntable. Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM). Use the included 45 RPM adapter for 45 RPM records.
  5. Gently push the Tone Arm holder to the right to release the TONE ARM.
  6. Raise the Cue Lever to lift the TONE ARM off its support.
  7. Move the TONE ARM gently to the edge of the record or the starting point of the track. The turntable will begin to turn.
  8. Gently lower the TONE ARM by slowly releasing the CUE LEVER. The TONE ARM can also be lowered manually if the CUE LEVER has not been raised.
  9. Turn the VOLUME KNOB to adjust the volume.
  10. When playback finishes, slightly lift the tone arm using the CUE LEVER and return it to the TONE ARM holder.

Listening to the FM Radio

  1. Turn the BT/PHONO/FM KNOB to enter FM mode.
  2. Press the SEARCH button; the unit will automatically search for and store stations.
  3. Note: The PLAY/PAUSE (II) button can be used to stop searching.
  4. Press the PREVIOUS (<<) or NEXT (>>) button to skip to the previous or next station.
  5. Press and hold the PREVIOUS (<<) or NEXT (>>) button to manually search for stations.

Adjusting for Best Reception: Extend and reposition the FM antenna.

Listening to an External Device (AUX Mode)

LINE-OUT Jacks on the BACK of the unit:

If connecting to external powered speakers, use an RCA component cable (not included). Connect the white plug to the white jack (left) and the red plug to the red jack (right).

Listening to an External Device (Bluetooth Mode)

In BT (Bluetooth) mode, this unit can play music from external devices with a built-in Bluetooth feature.

Getting Connected Using Bluetooth:

  1. Turn the BT/PHONO/FM KNOB to select BT mode. The "bt" indicator will flash on the Display Screen.
  2. Turn ON the Bluetooth function on your external device.
  3. Note: The effective distance between your external device and this unit is 10 meters (33ft).
  4. Wait for "VTA-65" to appear on your external device's paired devices list and select it.
  5. After a few seconds, your Bluetooth connection will be successful, and the "bt" on the Display Screen will stop flashing.
  6. Select music media files on your external device, then press the PLAY/PAUSE button (>II) to begin playback.
  7. To temporarily pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (>II). Press again to resume.
  8. To skip to the previous or next tracks, press the PREVIOUS (<<) or NEXT (>>) button.

Note: Stop, fast forward, and rewind functions are only available on your external device.

Bluetooth Distance: A note indicates the effective Bluetooth range is 10 meters (33ft).

Maintenance/Proper Handling

Handling Vinyl Records:

  • Do not touch the record's grooves. Handle records by the edges or label with clean hands. Touching the record surface can deteriorate its quality.
  • To clean a record, use a soft anti-static cloth to gently wipe the record surface.
  • Keep records in their protective sleeves when not in use.
  • Always store records upright on their edges.
  • Avoid placing records in direct sunlight, near heat sources (radiators, stoves), or in locations subject to vibration, excessive dust, heat, cold, or moisture.

How to Replace the Turntable Stylus

The stylus should last approximately 50 hours of normal use. Replace the stylus if you notice a change in sound quality, as a worn-out stylus may damage records, especially at 78 RPM.

Removing the Stylus from the Cartridge:

  1. Set a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push down towards direction "A". Warning: Applying too much force may damage or break the stylus.
  2. Pull the stylus out towards direction "B".

Installing the Stylus:

  1. Hold the tip of the new stylus and insert the other edge by pressing towards direction "C".
  2. Push the stylus up towards direction "D" until it locks at the tip.

Caution:

  • Do not remove or bend the stylus needle.
  • Do not touch the needle to avoid injury.
  • Turn off the unit's power before replacing the stylus.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Innovative Technology Electronics LLC. (IT) warrants the product to be free from "Defects" in materials under normal use for a period of "One Year" from the date of original purchase. The warranty is "Not" transferable.

IT agrees to repair or replace the product if determined to be defective at "No Charge" within the initial "90 Day" period. IT will cover the cost to repair or replace damaged "Parts" only for a total period of "One Year" from the date of original purchase.

Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, antennas, AC cords, cabinets, headbands, ear-pads, or damage due to line power surges, improper voltage supply or settings, misuse, mishandling, accident, acts of God, or attempted repair by an unauthorized service agent.

Obtaining Service: Purchaser MUST present an original sales receipt / proof of purchase. Contact www.victrola.com to request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. Returns without an RMA number will be refused and returned to sender.

Return Process: Upon receipt of the returning item and full inspection, IT may issue a replacement of equivalent value. To return an item, supply full name, return address, phone number, item purchased, receipt of purchase, and reason for return to obtain RMA number.

Return Packaging: All returns must be in original packaging or a reasonable substitute to prevent damage. Customer "Must" include full name, shipping address, and telephone number inside the package. No returns will be shipped to PO Box or APO addresses.

Victrola VA-30 Wooden Stand with Record Holder

Assembly Instructions

Parts List:

  • A. Shelf (Top): 1 PC
  • B. Top Legs: 4 PCS
  • C. Shelf (Bottom): 1 PC
  • D. Bottom Legs: 4 PCS
  • E. Record Racks: 2 PCS
  • Record Rack Nuts: 4 PCS

Assembling the Stand:

STEP 1:

  1. Turn the Shelf (Top) (A) upside down on a flat, clean surface.
  2. Place a Top Leg (B) into each hole of the faceplate and tighten.
  3. Repeat to assemble the remaining Top Legs – 4 total.

STEP 2:

  1. Place the Shelf (Bottom) (C) on the base of the (4) Top Legs, aligning the holes.

STEP 3:

  1. Place the threaded end of one Bottom Leg (D) through each hole and into the corresponding Top Leg and fasten until tight.
  2. With all four Bottom Legs (D) in place, turn the fully assembled unit upright with the help of an assistant.

STEP 4:

  1. Insert the first Record Rack (E) through the corresponding holes in the Shelf (Bottom) (C) and use a corresponding nut to securely attach (hand tighten only).
  2. Repeat for the second Record Rack (E).

Please Note:

  • Read, heed, and follow all instructions in the manual before operating.
  • Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
  • Choose unit location carefully. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or close to a heat source. Also avoid locations subject to vibrations and excessive dust, cold, or moisture.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
  • This product should be moved with care to avoid damage or injury. Unplug the power cord, remove the music center and records before moving the Wooden Stand.
  • Do not sit or stand on the unit to avoid injury – only place the music center and records on the Wooden Stand.
