Connection Diagram and Notice
This section illustrates how to connect the Wingman PS2 to different consoles and controllers, including wired and wireless options for PS, Xbox, and Switch.
Notice:
- Wireless controllers require initial USB registration.
- An additional microUSB may be needed for controllers with high power consumption.
- Each Wingman PS2 supports only one device at a time.
- The converter supports most compatible accessories, with firmware updates expanding support.
- Turbo and Remap functions can only be set in gamepad mode.

The LED indicators on the Wingman PS2 provide status information:

Connection
1. Connects to Console
Connect the Wingman PS2 to a PS or PS2 console, or to a PS Classic via USB. A slow flashing Green LED indicates a successful connection.
2. Connects to Wired Controller
Connect a PS3/PS4 controller via USB. Registration is automatic. A permanently Light blue LED indicates a successful connection. Some high-power devices (PS5, Switch Pro) may require an external USB power source.
3. Connects to Wireless Controller
(1) PS5 / PS4 / PS3 / Switch Pro
After removing the USB cable, the controller is ready for wireless use. A permanently Light blue LED indicates a successful connection. This process only needs to be completed once.
(2) Xbox 360
Connect the wireless X360 receiver to the converter via USB. A permanently Light blue LED indicates a successful connection.
(3) Xbox One / Xbox Elite 2
Hold the Brook Key for 1 second to enter wireless pairing mode. Press the Pair button on the wireless controller. A permanently Light blue LED indicates a successful connection. Note: If the Xbox One/Elite 2 controller is plugged in via USB, Bluetooth connection may need re-pairing. Repeatedly pressing the Xe key may cause the controller to crash.

Turbo Function Settings
Instructions for setting Turbo function, primarily using a PS5 controller as an example:
- Enter setting mode: Press SHARE + PS Key simultaneously. The Yellow LED will be permanently on.
- Choose Turbo buttons: Hold SHARE, then press the desired button(s). Multiple buttons can be set. Supported buttons include: X, Circle, Square, Triangle, L1, R1, L2, R2, L3, R3.
- Save settings: Release all buttons, then press OPTIONS to save.
- Exit: Press PS Key. The Yellow LED will turn off.
Clearing Turbo Function
Instructions for clearing Turbo function:
- Enter setting mode: Press SHARE + PS Key simultaneously. The Yellow LED will be permanently on.
- Clear all Turbo functions: Press SHARE + OPTIONS simultaneously.
- Exit: Press PS Key. The Yellow LED will turn off.
Remap Settings
Instructions for custom button remapping, using a PS5 controller as an example:
- Enter setting mode: Press OPTION + PS Key simultaneously. The Purple LED will be permanently on.
- Transfer function from one button to another: Press and release a button, then hold SHARE and press the target button.
- Transfer function from one button to multiple buttons: Press and release a button, then hold SHARE and press multiple target buttons.
- Save settings: Release all buttons, then press OPTIONS to save.
- Exit: Press PS Key. The Purple LED will turn off.
Clearing Remap Function
Instructions for clearing custom button remapping:
- Enter setting mode: Press OPTION + PS Key simultaneously. The Purple LED will be permanently on.
- Clear all remapped functions: Press SHARE + OPTIONS.
- Exit: Press PS Key. The Purple LED will turn off.
Switch the Input mode
The default mode is PS classic. Instructions for switching modes:
- PS classic to X-Input Mode: Hold SELECT + Down on the D-pad for 2 seconds.
- X-Input to PS classic Mode: Hold SELECT + Up on the D-pad for 2 seconds.
