Installation
Important Note: This Wi-Fi smart switch requires both Live and Neutral lines for power. Ensure the power is cut off before installation or un-installation. Installation should be performed by a qualified professional.
- Open the switch glass panel: Remove the screws from the designated holes to open the glass panel.
- Connect the wiring:
Refer to the wiring diagram. Connections include Neutral (N), Live In (L), and Live Out (L1, L2, L3 for multi-gang switches). The input power is 90-250V AC.

- Secure the switch: Tighten the screws to mount the switch into the wall.
- Reattach the panel: Click the touch panel back into its place.
- Connect power: Restore power supply after completing all installation steps.
App Setup and Device Pairing
Download & Install the App
Scan the QR code provided or search for "Tuya Smart" on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download and install the application.
Account Login/Registration
Log in with your account name and password. If you do not have an account, register one first. The system automatically identifies your country. You can use your mobile phone number as your account name. Follow the prompts to enter your mobile number, receive a verification code via SMS, and set a password. Tap "Confirm" to finish registration.
Add New Device
- Ensure your phone is connected to your local Wi-Fi network.
- Touch and hold any touch key on the switch for approximately 7 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator light blinks rapidly.
- On the Tuya Smart APP, tap the `+` icon to add a new device.
- Select "Wall Switch" from the homepage.
- Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password. (Note: Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported).
- The app will start searching for the device. This process takes about 20 seconds. Wait for successful configuration.

Switch Management
- Rename Switch: You can rename the switch in the settings menu (usually found in the upper right corner).
- Rename Channels: Long-press on a specific channel button to rename it (e.g., "Living Room Light").
Modes and Features
- Timer & Countdown: Set timers or countdowns for your devices using the menu options at the bottom of the UI.
- One Key All On/Off Mode: For 2 or 3-gang switches, you can long-press a switch button for approximately 10 seconds until a buzzer sounds "Ding-Ding". This enters pairing mode. Pressing a paired controller key will make the buzzer sound again, confirming successful pairing. This allows a single controller key to turn all connected gangs on or off simultaneously.
Indicator Status
The switch uses diamond-shaped indicators: a Red Diamond ? signifies the switch is ON, and a Blue Diamond ? signifies the switch is OFF.
Pairing with RF433 Remote Controller
This function is available for Wi-Fi + RF compatible switches.
- One Key On/Off Control Mode: Touch and hold a switch touch button for approximately 8 seconds until a buzzer sounds "Ding". The switch enters pairing mode.
- Press the controller key. The buzzer will sound again if pairing is successful. The paired controller key can now turn the switch On and Off.
Voice Control Integration
How to Control with Amazon Alexa
- Open the Alexa App and navigate to "Skills".
- Search for "Tuya Smart" in the search bar and enable the skill.
- Link your accounts by entering your Tuya Smart account name and password. Return to the Alexa app after successful linking.
- Discover devices by going to "Smart Home" within the Alexa app.
- Example Voice Commands: "Alexa, turn on my device [device name]", "Alexa, turn off my device [device name]".
How to Control with Google Home
- Launch the Google Home app and tap "Home control".
- Under the "Devices" menu, tap the `+` icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select "Tuya Smart" from the list of services. Enter your Tuya Smart account name and password to log in.
- After successful login, all your Tuya smart devices will be displayed. Tap "Done" in the upper right corner, then tap "GOT IT" to finish the setup.
- Example Voice Commands: "Hey Google, turn on/off my [device name]".
