AudioCodes C455HD IP Phone for Microsoft Teams Quick Guide
1. Before Installing
Congratulations on purchasing your AudioCodes C455HD for Microsoft Teams IP Phone!
Before installing your phone, ensure the following items are included in the shipped box/boxes:
- C455HD IP Phone
- Expansion Module (optional, supported on C455HD models whose CPN suffix is DBW and purchased separately)
- AC power adapter (optional)
- Cat 5e Ethernet cable
- Handset
- Handset cord
- Desktop stand
- Wall mount
2. Physical Description
The phone features a touch screen at the top, followed by navigation controls and function keys. Below the screen are the alphanumeric keypad and a microphone at the bottom.
Key components and controls include:
- Touch Screen: For displaying information and interacting with the interface.
- Navigation Control: Used for navigating menus and options.
- Back Key: Returns to the previous screen or menu.
- Volume Keys: Adjusts the audio volume.
- Mute Key: Mutes or unmutes the microphone.
- Headset Key: Activates or deactivates the headset.
- Speakerphone Key: Activates or deactivates the speakerphone.
- Alphanumeric Keypad: For dialing numbers and entering text.
- Microphone: Captures audio input.
On-screen elements visible on the touch screen include:
- MENU: Accesses the main menu.
- CONTACTS: Opens the contacts list.
- HOME: Returns to the home screen.
- TRANSFER: Initiates call transfer.
- HOLD: Places the current call on hold.
- VOICEMAIL: Accesses voicemail messages.
3. Cabling the Phone
Expansion Module: The Expansion Module is purchased separately. For connection instructions, refer to the C450HD and C455HD Expansion Module Installation Guide.

To cable the phone:
- Connect the short, straight end of the phone cord to the handset. Connect the longer, straight end of the cord to the handset jack on the phone.
- (Optional) Connect a headset to the RJ-9 headset port, or to the white USB port.
- Connect the RJ-45 PC port to a computer using a CAT5 / 5e straight-through Ethernet cable.
- Connect the connector tip of the AC power adapter to the phone's DC 12V power socket. Connect the two-prong AC adapter directly to the electrical wall outlet. When the phone powers up, all LEDs will momentarily light up.
4. Mounting the Phone on a Desktop or Wall
The phone can be mounted on a desk using the included stand or on a wall using a compatible wall mount fitting.
Desktop Mounting: Slide the L-shaped stand's short or long edge slots onto the rails located on the back of the phone.
Wall Mounting: Slide the wall mount fitting onto the rails located on the back of the phone.

5. Signing In
To sign in to your Microsoft Teams account:
- Connect the device to the network.
- On your computer or mobile device, navigate to https://microsoft.com/devicelogin.
- Enter the code displayed on the phone's screen into the browser prompt and click 'Next'.
- Select your Microsoft account from the list (e.g., alanr@audiocodes.com) or choose to use another account. You may see a message indicating your sign-in location.
- Click the account, close the 'Microsoft Authentication Broker' window if it appears, and then click 'Continue'.
- The phone will display a "Registering your device..." message, which may take a few minutes.
- Once registration is complete, the home screen will appear, indicating you have successfully signed in.
6. Changing your Presence Status
To change your presence status:
Swipe right on the phone's touch screen, touch the current presence status, and then select the desired status (e.g., Busy, Do not disturb, Be right back, Off work).

8. Connecting to a Router via Wi-Fi
⚠️ Note: This section applies only to models with Wi-Fi functionality (models with CPN suffix DBW).
The phone can connect to an Access Point via Wi-Fi, enabling VoIP calls in environments without LAN/cables.
To connect to Wi-Fi, navigate to the ‘Settings’ menu and select the ‘Wi-Fi’ option. The phone will display its current Wi-Fi status (e.g., Disconnected).

9. Enabling or Disabling Wi-Fi
To enable Wi-Fi:
- Turn Wi-Fi on by moving the switch in the upper right corner of the screen (Wi-Fi is disabled by default).
- After enabling Wi-Fi, the phone will display "Searching for Wi-Fi networks...". It then lists available Wi-Fi Access Points. Select your desired network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted, and then tap ‘Connect’.
- Once connected to the Access Point, the status will display "Connected".

10. Configuring Bluetooth
⚠️ Note: This section applies only to models with Bluetooth functionality (models with CPN ending in DBW).
The Bluetooth interface connects the phone to wireless headsets or speakers.
To pair and connect a remote Bluetooth device:
- Press the phone's MENU hard key to access the 'Settings' menu.
- In the Settings screen, select the ‘Bluetooth’ option. Then, in the Bluetooth screen, move the switch to ‘On’ to start Bluetooth scanning.
- Select the desired Bluetooth device to pair. If prompted for a Bluetooth Pairing code, enter it and touch ‘Pair’.
- Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth audio device will appear under the ‘Paired devices’ section. To connect, touch the device name.
- To unpair a device, touch the gear icon ⚙️ on the right of the device name and click ‘Forget’.
