Before Use

Before using the vaporizer, read the attached user manual and follow the steps below:

  1. Remove all packaging items.
  2. Place the device in the location where it will be used.
  3. Ensure the device is connected to a suitable power outlet.

The Azzurro H1106 Sonia vapozone is distinguished by its high manufacturing quality. Intuitive operation creates an excellent working environment in any beauty salon. It is lightweight, functional, and features a stable stand. The water tank has a sealing ring that prevents water and gas leaks. The head can be tilted forward and backward within a 60º range.

Assembly

  1. Place the five stand legs into the base with five arms.
  2. Then, place the stand, connected to the sleeve built into the panel base.
  3. Insert the legs into the corresponding holes in the base. Insert the washer and M10 spring screw. Then, using the M10 screws, connect and secure the washer with the attached legs to the stand.
  4. Place the main unit onto the stand.

Operating Instructions

Arm Locking Release

When removed from the packaging, the sprayer arm is locked. To unlock, pull the nozzle in the direction of the black arrow and rotate the nozzle to a horizontal position, as shown in the figure below.

Nozzle and Sprayer Head Positioning

Thanks to its special design, the sprayer nozzle is adjustable at various angles, making the device easier to use and more functional.

The handle can be rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise within a 130º range. The arm can be tilted forward and backward within a 60º range. The head can be rotated 360º. The arm can only be adjusted within the specified range. Otherwise, water leaking from the device may damage the components.

Filling with Water

Open the lid and pour water into the tank. The water level should be between the lower and upper lines indicated on the container.

Attaching and Removing the Water Tank

If you wish to remove the tank after treatment, first disconnect the device from the mains and wait for the tank to cool down. Unscrew the tank clockwise. When attaching the water tank, remember to first disconnect the device from the power supply. Screw the tank counter-clockwise.

Control Panel Operation

  1. Connect the device to the power supply.
  2. Pressing the [POWER] button illuminates the light. When treatment is complete and the power button is pressed again, the device will remain in standby mode, showing the following on the display:
    • Time window - 15 minutes will be displayed.
    • Power window - the highest power level will be displayed.
    • Ozone window - [OZONE ON symbol] indicates the function is on, while [OZONE OFF symbol] indicates it is off.
    • HEATING/VAPOR window - [VAPOR ON symbol] indicates the shower function is on, while [VAPOR OFF symbol] indicates it is off. [HEATING ON symbol] indicates heating is on, while [HEATING OFF symbol] indicates the function is off.
  3. Press the WARMING/VAPOR button to activate the function:
    • Pressing the WARMING/VAPOR button illuminates a light indicating that the VAPOR function has started. The device will begin heating, and steam will be emitted from the nozzle after approximately 6 minutes.
    • Pressing the WARMING/VAPOR button illuminates an indicator light indicating that the WARMING function has started. The device will begin heating.
  4. Setting the Timer: Use the TIMER buttons [-] or [+] to set the desired operating time.
  • If the VAPOR function light is on, the default operating time is 15 minutes. The adjustable operating time is from 1 to 30 minutes.
  • If the WARMING function light is on, the default operating time is 30 minutes. The adjustable operating time is from 1 to 90 minutes.

Setting Power

Press the ENERGY button to set the desired steam output power level. You can set low, medium, or high levels. If the display shows [HIGH POWER SYMBOL], it indicates the highest power level. If it is not displayed, it indicates the lowest level. Before starting steam release, set the highest power level and then adjust it as needed.

Turning on the Ozone Function

Press the ozone function button, and the indicator will light up. The steam will have a characteristic ozone smell.

Low Water Level Warning Function

The system automatically checks the water level when the WARMING/VAPOR function is activated. If the water level is sufficient, the device will continue heating. If the water level is too high or too low, the display will show "E2" (high water level) or "E1" (low water level). The device will immediately stop heating. At this point, the light will turn off, and an alarm will sound. All buttons will be locked until the water level changes.

When the water level is correct, press WARMING/VAPOR to resume function operation.

Notes

  • Before turning on the device, ensure the water tank is correctly attached and the water level is correct, between the lower and upper lines. Ensure the vaporizer lid is correctly attached.
  • Wait until steam is emitted evenly before starting the treatment.
  • To avoid burns from hot steam, maintain a safe distance (20-40 cm) between the nozzle and the client's face.
  • Do not remove the water container immediately after the procedure, as it is hot and can cause burns. Wait for the container to cool down.
  • Do not overfill the container with water. This can negatively affect the device and cause a short circuit.
  • If water or gas (ozone) leaks occur, immediately disconnect the device from the power supply. Check if the water tank or lid is correctly attached. If this is not the cause, contact an authorized service center.
  • When using the device and before starting treatment, check the water level.
  • Once done, empty and dry the tank. Do not leave water in the tank for too long.
  • Do not use tap water or poor-quality water. Distilled or filtered water is recommended.
  • Do not remove the lid or water tank while the device is operating.
  • Do not use the device in humid areas (e.g., bathrooms).
  • Do not use the device in very sunny locations.
  • Do not attempt to repair the device yourself; all defects must be reported to the service department.
  • Do not pour essential oils or other liquids into the water tank, only water. This can cause device damage or personal injury.
  • Do not touch the water tank when the device is switched on.

Device Maintenance

  • Before each use, fill the tank with fresh water. Then, the tank must be thoroughly washed and dried.
  • Once a week, clean and remove limescale from the heating system. A water and vinegar solution is good for cleaning the water tank. Heat it for one minute and then clean the heating tube.
  • After each use, clean the device to avoid the accumulation of residue from the performed treatment.

Safety Precautions

  • The device is professional equipment intended for use in beauty salons. Only qualified cosmetic personnel should operate the device to avoid adverse effects during the procedure.
  • The device must not be disassembled or attempted to be used for purposes other than those specified in this user manual. All maintenance and repairs must be carried out only by an authorized service technician (ACTIVESHOP Sp. z o.o.).
  • Do not install or use the device near liquids, in wet areas, or with wet hands – to prevent liquids from entering the device.
  • Immediately disconnect the device from the power outlet and contact the authorized service provided by ACTIVESHOP Sp. z o.o. in the following cases:
    • a) liquid has entered the device,
    • b) the device emits an unusual smell, smoke, or makes unusual noises,
    • c) the power cord is damaged,
    • d) the device has been overturned or its casing is damaged.
  • Do not place any objects on the cables. Do not install the device in places where someone might step on the power cable.
  • For safety reasons, unplug the power cord from the outlet whenever you finish working with the device.
  • Do not insert anything into the device's openings. If a foreign object enters an opening, unplug the cable from the outlet and contact the distributor or manufacturer.
  • Do not place the device on an unstable trolley, shelf, or vehicle. The device may be damaged if it falls.
  • To ensure the device's fixed service life, it is recommended to observe a one-minute interval before restarting after switching off and on (between switching on and off and vice versa).
  • The power source must comply with the specifications indicated on the rating plate. Otherwise, there is a risk that the device may not function correctly, be damaged, or even burn out.

ATTENTION:

  • If the power cord is damaged or other malfunctions occur, contact the authorized service center – this will help avoid hazards.
  • This device may be used by children aged 8 and above, and by persons with limited physical and mental abilities, as well as persons with insufficient experience and knowledge of the equipment, provided that supervision is ensured or instructions on the safe use of the equipment are given, to understand the associated risks.
  • Children are not allowed to play with the device. Do not let children play with the device.
  • Do not leave the device unattended if children or persons without sufficient knowledge of its use are nearby.
  • This electrical device is not a toy. Improper use or contact with the electrical device can pose a risk to health or cause death, so the device must be used and stored in a place inaccessible to children.

Device Disposal

Dispose of used electrical devices, accessories, and packaging at recycling centers in accordance with environmental protection principles. Electrical devices must not be disposed of in household waste containers. Observe the regulations for the disposal of such equipment. To protect the environment, in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and handed over to collection points.

Electronic and electrical equipment waste. After the end of their useful life, used devices contain fully recyclable components, so they must be handed over for recycling. Therefore, they must be handed over to appropriate collection points, as well as ACTIVESHOP Ltd.

Storage and Transportation

The device must be transported at a temperature from (-) 20 °C to (+) 50 °C only in its original packaging. Store the device in a well-ventilated room where relative humidity does not exceed 75%. Operating temperature is from (+) 10 °C to (+) 40 °C. During storage and transportation, the device must not be thrown or dropped, subjected to mechanical impacts, or atmospheric influences.
