Hardware Overview
The RUTX11 router features various ports and indicators on its front and back panels.
Front View
Front Panel Components:
- Mobile network type LEDs: Indicate the current mobile network status (e.g., 2G, 3G, 4G).
- WAN type LEDs: Indicate the status of the WAN connection.
- SIM needle: Used to eject the SIM card holder.
- Power socket: Connection point for the power adapter.
- Power LED: Indicates the power status of the device.
- Reset button: Used to reset the device.
- WiFi band LEDs: Indicate the status of the WiFi bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz).
- LAN Ethernet ports: Four Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired network connections.
- WAN Ethernet port: A dedicated Ethernet port for WAN connection.
- SIM holders: Slots for inserting SIM cards (SIM1 and SIM2).

Back Panel Components:
- Mobile MAIN antenna connector: For connecting the primary mobile antenna.
- GPS antenna connector: For connecting the GPS antenna.
- Mobile AUX antenna connector: For connecting the secondary mobile antenna.
- WiFi antenna connector: For connecting WiFi antennas (multiple connectors may be present).
- USB port: For connecting external USB devices.
- Grounding screw: For proper grounding of the device.
- Bluetooth antenna connector: For connecting the Bluetooth antenna.
Hardware Installation
Power Socket Pinout
The power socket uses a 4-pin connector. The wiring is as follows:
- Power / Red wire: Connects to the device's power input.
- Ground / Black wire: Connects to the device's ground.
- Input / Green wire: Typically used for input signals or control.
- Output / White wire: Typically used for output signals or control.
Note: Refer to the specific power adapter documentation for exact pin functions if not standard.
Installation Steps
- Pull out the SIM needle from the front panel of the router.
- Push the SIM holder button with the SIM needle.
- Pull out the SIM holder.
- Insert your SIM card into the SIM holder.
- Slide the SIM holder back into the router.
- Attach all antennas to their respective connectors.
- Connect the power adapter to the power socket on the front of the device. Then plug the other end of the power adapter into a power outlet.
- Connect to the device wirelessly using the SSID and password provided on the device information label, or use an Ethernet cable connected to a LAN port.
Login to Device
Access the router's Web interface (WebUI) to configure the device.
- Open your internet browser and navigate to
http://192.168.1.1
. - Enter the username and password when prompted. The default credentials are typically found on the device information label.
- Upon first login, you will be prompted to change your password for security reasons. The new password must be at least 8 characters long, including at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one digit. This step is mandatory.
- After changing the password, the Configuration Wizard will launch, guiding you through the setup of main operating parameters.
- Navigate to the Overview page to check the Signal Strength indication. Adjust antennas or device location to achieve optimal cellular performance.
Login Screen Example (Image A)
The login screen prompts for a username and password. Default credentials are often 'admin' for both.
Mobile Status Example (Image B)
The mobile status screen displays connection details such as Data connection state (e.g., Connected), State (e.g., Registered; OPERATOR; 4G (LTE)), SIM card status (e.g., Ready), and data usage (Bytes received/sent).
