- Always follow the installation instructions given in the documentation provided with the product.
- Do not connect or use this product during thunderstorms. Interference from the mains and/or telephone network can cause electric discharges in the product and electric shock. Furthermore, if the product is used for voice communication, acoustic shocks may occur in the earpiece of the product, and excessive acoustic pressure can cause deafness.
- The product must be installed inside a building and the case of the product must not be opened.
- Plastic bags present a risk of suffocation. Keep out of reach of children.
- The product is designed to be used in vertical position. When the product is fixed in height, it should be installed at a maximum height of 0.75 meters.
- The identification information is located on the power supply unit and on the bottom of the product.
CLIMATIC CONDITIONS
This product is designed for use in an office or in a room at home in a maximum ambient temperature of 45°C (113°F) and maximum altitude of 3000m.

Do not use the product near a water outlet, for example a bath, a washbasin, a washing machine, in a damp basement or near a swimming pool.
If a liquid or any other substance gets inside the appliance, switch it off immediately or unplug the power cord from the mains socket. If you continue using it you may cause an electrical discharge or a fire may even break out.
Moving the appliance from a cold environment to a warm one may cause condensation on some internal parts. Allow the appliance to dry before switching it back on.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the appliance electrically from the wall socket and from the computer before cleaning it.
Do not use detergents or aerosols, or chemicals likely to damage plastic materials, or substances containing alcohol, benzene or diluent, or other flammable products. The use of these products may cause a fire.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not dismantle this product. None of the internal parts can be replaced by a non-professional, and so there is no reason for opening it. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltages. Incorrect re-assembly may cause electric shock on subsequently re-using the product. If your appliance has to be repaired or serviced, contact your Customer Service.
POWER SUPPLY
Only use the power unit and power accessories supplied. Connect them to the mains in accordance with the installation instructions in this booklet and with the indications on the identification label affixed to the power unit of the appliance (mains voltage, current, frequency).
Using power sources other than those recommended for this equipment may cause overheating or deformation of the appliance, and cause an electric discharge or a fire to break out.
ACCESSIBILITY & ELECTRICAL OVERLOAD
Make sure the power unit is easily accessible and as close as possible to the equipment so that the appliance can be unplugged quickly in case of a problem.
Do not plug too many devices into a mains socket block or extensions as this increases the risk of fire or electric shock.
DAMAGE REQUIRING REPAIR
Unplug the appliance from the mains socket and have it repaired by a qualified after-sales service if:
- The power supply or its plug are damaged;
- One of the cables supplied is damaged or frayed;
- You have spilt a liquid into the appliance or it has been exposed to rain or water;
- The appliance does not function normally or there is considerable variation in its performance;
- The appliance has fallen or is damaged in any way
- There is any sign of overheating;
If any small metal objects such as pins, paper clips, etc. accidentally get inside, disconnect the equipment from the mains as quickly as possible (risk of electric shock) and contact your Customer Service to find out what to do. Do not re-connect the product until all foreign bodies have been removed. Unplug the product immediately if you notice a smell of burning or smoke. You must under no circumstance open the appliance yourself because of the risk of electric shock.
