- Avoid high humidity, high temperature, and high magnetic field.
- Do not insert needles or any other metal objects into the mains outlet.
- Do not touch the device with wet hands.
- Do not disassemble or repair the product; only authorized service personnel should perform repairs.
- Children are not allowed to use the timer outlet without supervision.
Operating Instructions
Before initial use, plug the timer in for at least 30 minutes to charge the internal battery. After the screen displays, the unit is ready for programming.
1. Reset
Before programming, all settings should be reset. The reset hole, identified by "R", is located below the "HOUR" button. Use a paper clip or ballpoint pen to press it. (See Figure 1)

2. Set the Current Time
- Keep the "CLOCK" button pressed during the entire setting operation.
- Press the "HOUR" button to set hours.
- Press the "MIN" button to set minutes.
- Press the "DAY" button to select the correct day of the week.
- Release the "CLOCK" button. The time will be set.
3. ON/OFF Program Setting
Press the "SET" button once. There are a total of 20 ON/OFF settings. (See Figure 2)

- Press the "HOUR" or "MIN" buttons to set the ON time.
- Press the "DAY" button to select the day(s). Options include:
- SU
- MO, TU, WE, TH, FR
- MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU
- MO
- TU
- WE
- TH
- FR
- SA
- SA, SU
- MO, WE, FR
- MO, TU, WE
- MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA
- TU, TH, SA
- TH, FR, SA
- Press the "SET" button to save and proceed to the "1 OFF" setting. (See Figure 3)
- Repeat steps 1-5 to set ON/OFF times. Pressing the "SET" button again will advance to the other 19 ON/OFF settings.
Note: Timer should operate in the "AUTO ON" or "AUTO OFF" mode. See "Switching Mode Indication" section.

4. Reset Button
Press the "SET" button to select the ON/OFF setting that needs to be changed. Press the "3" button to reset the current ON/OFF setting without having to scroll through all the hours. (See Figure 4)

5. Switching Mode Indication
The actual mode is shown on the display as "ON", "AUTO ON", "OFF", or "AUTO OFF" together with the time of day. Press the "MANUAL" button to adjust to the desired setting mode.
6. Manual Override Setting
As an independent programming, it is possible at any given time to advance to the next switching command by constantly pressing the "MANUAL" button.
Modes:
- ON: Always ON
- OFF: Always OFF
- AUTO ON: Timer is ON currently and ON/OFF program is activated.
- AUTO OFF: Timer is OFF currently and ON/OFF program is activated.
7. Countdown Mode
Press the "SET" button repeatedly or hold it until the "CTD" icon appears on the display. This will appear after the ON/OFF program. (See Figure 5)

- Press the "HOUR", "MIN" buttons to set the desired countdown time.
- Press the "CLOCK" button to store the setting and return to the main display.
8. Activate the Countdown Feature
Press the "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons simultaneously to activate the countdown feature. (See Figure 6 for more details)

Other Features of the Countdown:
- Press the "CLOCK" button to switch between the clock and countdown display.
- Press the "MANUAL" button to pause or resume countdown only if on the countdown display.
- In countdown mode, press "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons simultaneously to deactivate the countdown.
- In pause mode, press "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons simultaneously to restart the countdown.
9. Random ON/OFF Setting
Random is a feature that will randomize your current setting by +/- 30 minutes, giving your home a lived-in appearance to deter intruders.
- Press and hold the "HOUR" button for 3 seconds to activate the random feature. The display will show the "RND" icon. (See Figure 7)
- Press and hold the "HOUR" button for 3 seconds to deactivate the random feature. The "RND" icon will disappear from the screen.

10. Daylight Saving Time (DST)
Press and hold the "CLOCK" button for 3 seconds to advance the current time by 1 hour; the "+1h" icon will appear on the display. Press and hold the "CLOCK" button for 3 seconds again to decrease the time by 1 hour, and the "+1h" icon will disappear. (See Figure 8)

11. Power Back-up Feature
In the event of a power failure, the timer will retain its settings for an estimated 3 months if the power backup is fully charged.
