Thank you for purchasing our GPS tracker. This Quick User shows how to operate the device smoothly and correctly.

If you have more SinoTrack GPS trackers, and want to manage them in one account, please contact SinoTrack. They will create an account for you, so you can monitor multiple devices on the platform at the same time.
SIM Card and Initial Setup
1. Choose SIM card: It should be a Normal SIM card, without a PIN code.

2. Insert SIM card: Properly insert the GSM card, the tracker will start. Connect external power supply.
3. Power on: Put the device outside for about 30 seconds. LED lights will keep lighting on, indicating the device can work normally.
4. Dialing: Dial the device number. It will hang up and reply with a tracking message containing valid longitude and latitude.
5. Set APN: Please send an SMS to the tracker to set the APN (Access Point Name). The default command is:
SMS: 8030000 APN
If your SIM Card provider requires a user name and password for the APN, please send the command:
SMS: 8030000 APN APNuser APNpassword
6. Set server: Send SMS to set the trackers to our server:
SMS: 8040000 45.112.204.245 8090
7. Online Tracking: If all settings are correct, you can track the device online.
If the device is not online, please check the device settings. Send: RCONF to the device, and it will reply with the current settings.
Verify the following:
- The APN is correct.
- The IP and Port are correct.
- The ID on the platform is correct.
- The device is in the correct working mode (SMS or GPRS).

How to Install
This is a plug-and-play device. Connect it to the OBD connector.

How to find the OBD connector on your car:
The OBD connector can be found in approximately 6 locations in a car, but most commonly in one specific place.

LED Status
1.1. Blue LED --- GPS Status
Status | Meaning |

The default password is: 0000
The default mode is normal working (sleep off).
GPS Status: 'A' means the device has a location; 'V' means the location is invalid.
Alarm mode is on.
Alarms will be sent to the 3 control numbers.
Functions
1. Set control number:
Command: Number+pass+blank+serial
Sample: 139504434650000 1
Explanation: 13950443465 is the mobile number, 0000 is the password, and 1 indicates the first control number.
When the tracker replies "SET OK", the setting is successful. You can set the second and third control numbers similarly.
2. Working mode:
The ST-902 supports both SMS and GPRS working modes.
- SMS Mode (Default): Use SMS only for control and to get Google location from your mobile.
- GPRS Mode: For real-time online monitoring and long-term data storage.
To choose a mode, send an SMS command:
- SMS Mode: Command: 700+Password. Sample: 7000000. Reply: SET OK.
- GPRS Mode: Command: 710+Password. Sample: 7100000. Reply: SET OK.
3. Change Password
Command: 777+New Password+Old password
Sample: 77712340000
Explanation: 1234 is the new password, and 0000 is the old password. The tracker will reply SET OK upon successful change.
4. Get location with Google link
Command: 669+password
Sample: 6690000
The tracker will read the GPS data and send back a Google Maps link to check the location.

5. Get location by phone call:
Call the SIM card number in the tracker. It will reply with the location via a Google Maps link.

If the tracker is in an invalid location, it will reply with the last valid location. Once a new location is acquired, it will send a second SMS with the new location.
6. Change Time Zone
Command: 896+password+E/W+HH
Sample: 8960000E00 (default)
Explanation: E means East, W means West, HH is the time zone offset. 0 time zone is 8960000E00.
Reply: SET OK
7. Send location in defined time every day:
The location will be sent to the first control number.
Command: 665+password+HHMM
Explanation: HH is the hour (00-23), MM is the minutes (00-59).
Sample: 66500001219
Reply: SET OK
To close this function, use the command: 665+password+OFF (default)
Sample: 6650000OFF
Reply: SET OK

8. Geo Fence:
Sends an alarm to the first number only.
- Open Geo Fence: Command: 211+password. Sample: 2110000. Reply: SET OK.
- Close Geo Fence: Command: 210+password. Sample: 2100000. Reply: SET OK.
- Set the Geo Fence: Sample: 0050000 1000 (sets Geo Fence to 1000 meters). Reply: SET OK.
SinoTrack suggests setting the Geo Fence to more than 1000 meters.

9. Over speed Alarm:
Sends an alarm to control numbers.
Command: 122+password+Blank+XXX
Sample: 1220000 120
Explanation: XXX is the speed limit in KM/H (0-999). If XXX is 0, the over speed alarm is closed.
Reply: SET OK

10. Mileage:
- Set the initial Mileage: Command: 142+Password<+M+X>. Sample: 1420000M1000. Reply: MILEAGE RESET OK, SET OK, CURRENT: 1000.
- Read the current Mileage: Command: 143+password. Sample: 1430000. Reply: CURRENT TOTAL MILEAGE:XX. (XX is the mileage in meters).
11. Shock Alarm:
Sends an SMS alarm to the first number.
- Open Shock Alarm: Command: 181+password+T. Sample: 1810000T10. Reply: SET OK. (T is shocking time in seconds, 0-120 seconds).
- Close Shock Alarm: Command: 180+password. Sample: 1800000. Reply: SET OK.

12. Low battery alarm:
When the battery is low, the tracker sends a Low Power Alarm SMS to the first number.

Battery status: Bat:5 (100%), Bat:4 (80%), Bat:3 (60%), Bat:2 (40%), Bat:1 (20%). When Bat is 1, a low battery alarm is sent.
13. Call mode:
- Call mode on: Command: 150+password. Sample: 1500000. Reply: SET OK.
- Call mode off: Command: 151+password. Sample: 1510000. Reply: SET OK.
When call mode is on, alarms will trigger both a call and an SMS to the control number. When call mode is off, only SMS is sent.
14. Sleep mode:
- Open Sleep mode: Command: SLEEP0000 1. Reply: SET OK.
- Close Sleep mode: Command: SLEEP0000 0. Reply: SET OK.
15. Set APN:
Command 1: 803+password+Blank+APN. Sample: 8030000 CMNET. Reply: SET OK.
If your APN requires a user and password:
Command: 803+password+Blank+APN+Blank+APNuser+Blank+APNpass. Sample: 8030000 CMNET CMNET CMNET. Reply: SET OK.
16. Set the IP and Port:
Command: 804+password+Blank+IP+Blank+Port. Sample: 8040000 45.112.204.245 8090. Reply: SET OK.
17. Set the time interval:
(Default is 20 seconds)
Command: 805+password+Blank+T. Sample: 8050000 20. Reply: SET OK.
Explanation: T is the time interval in seconds (0 to 18000). The minimum time interval is 10 seconds. When T=0, GPRS is closed.
