Overview

The WONDOM JAB2v2 is an audio amplifier board featuring Bluetooth V5.0 with apt-X HD support. It is available in four models: 2x50W, 2x30W, 1x100W, and 1x60W. Designed for portability, it supports battery power and integrates a DSP chip for advanced control via WONDOM ICP5 or higher versions. Users can adjust volume, gain, frequency, and EQ settings. The board also offers a mixed output that can be configured as a subwoofer signal.

*Battery Undervoltage Protection point is preset to 10.4V to protect Lithium-Ion batteries. LiFePo4 batteries are not supported by default. An MOQ of 500pcs is required for changes to this setting.

It is suggested to use a power supply with output voltage within DC15V-24V and current higher than 1A for charging batteries with AA-JA11113.

Block Diagram

A block diagram illustrates the JAB2v2's signal flow. It includes Bluetooth control and power inputs, processed by a MCU and Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with High-Pass Filter (HPF) and Low-Pass Filter (LPF). The output stage delivers 2x30W or 2x50W audio. A mixed output is available for subwoofer applications, configurable via PC UI. Notes: All dimensions are typical in inches/mm. Tolerance for x.xx is ±0.02 (±0.50). Height tolerance for x.xx is ±0.2 inches (5mm). The height is measured from the bottom to the top of components. For AA-JA32171, the height is 0.79 inches/20.1mm.

Bluetooth 5.0 Module

Features a built-in antenna. An external antenna port is also provided for installations where the board might be enclosed in a cabinet. An external antenna can be found in the Functional cables kit (AA-JA11114).

3.5mm AUX IN Port

Pins 6, 7, and 8 of connector J6 are used for AUX-IN. A 3.5mm AUX-IN cable is available in the Functional cables kit (AA-JA11114 / AA-JA11116).

Note: J11 has two jumpers. Do not remove them unless J11 is used with JAB3 or an external volume control potentiometer.
