Product Overview

The SONOFF iPlug Outdoor Wi-Fi Smart Plug is a smart plug designed for outdoor use, allowing you to control connected appliances remotely via Wi-Fi. It supports integration with major smart home platforms.

Getting Started

Download the eWeLink App

To begin, download the eWeLink App from your device's app store. The app is available for iOS and Android devices. You can also integrate the plug with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and SmartThings using Matter.

Power On

Connect the SONOFF iPlug Outdoor to a power outlet.

Pairing Mode

Upon initial power-up, the device automatically enters pairing mode. The Wi-Fi indicator light will flash in a pattern of "two short flashes followed by one long flash" [indicator-pattern].

If the device exits pairing mode (e.g., after 10 minutes without connection), press and hold the device button for approximately 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator light returns to the "two short, one long" flashing pattern to re-enter pairing mode.

Pairing Methods

Method 1: Matter Pairing

Open a Matter-compatible smart home app. Scan the Matter QR code located on the device to add it to your network. This method facilitates seamless integration with various Matter-supported ecosystems.

Method 2: eWeLink App Pairing

Open the eWeLink App. Scan the QR code on the device within the app. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the eWeLink App to complete the pairing process.

Note: If the page does not display after scanning the code, navigate to the 'Add Device' section in the eWeLink App homepage (typically accessed via a '+' icon in the top right corner) to proceed.
