ESN Series
ESN Certified Routers for Emergency Services
Approved for UK Public Safety
Peplink offers three routers certified for use in the UK's Emergency Services Network (ESN): the HD2 MBX, the HD4 MBX, and the BR1 ESN. These routers have been approved for use in the country's fleet of first responder and emergency service vehicles.
Achieve Unbreakable Connectivity
Utilize patented SpeedFusion technology to combine ESN and commercial links into an unbreakable VPN connection that remains active even if a link fails. Traffic seamlessly transitions between WAN connections, ensuring continuous streaming without interruption. SpeedFusion provides superior coverage and bandwidth compared to a single cellular link.
Connectivity Diagram Description: A visual representation shows LTE ? and ESN ? links connecting to an 'Unbreakable Connectivity' cloud. A crossed-out arrow (❌) indicates a potential failure between LTE and ESN, but the connection to the cloud remains stable.
Videos/DVRs
First responders can record video on-site, but live streaming presents a challenge. SpeedFusion bonds multiple cellular links into a powerful VPN connection capable of streaming HD video back to headquarters. WAN Smoothing technology ensures a consistent and uninterrupted video stream, even as traffic shifts between different WAN links.
Videos/DVRs Diagram Description: A police car labeled with 'ESN LTE 1' and 'ESN LTE 2' ? connects via arrows to a 'Datacenter FusionHub', which then relays the connection to 'Headquarters (Dispatch Center)' for HD video streaming.
Extend 2-Way Radios Anywhere
Previously, 2-way radios like LMR, P.25, TETRA, NXDN, and DMR were limited to radios connected to the same repeater. With SpeedFusion, these radios form a single, unbreakable network, extending the reach of existing 2-way radio systems to any location with an LTE or other IP network.
2-Way Radios Diagram Description: Icons representing 'Headquarters (Dispatch Center)', 'Air Ambulance' ?, and 'Emergency Vehicles' ? are connected via multiple LTE ? links, illustrating the extension of 2-way radio networks over IP.
