Device Front Panel Description
The front panel of the Peplink MAX BR2 Pro router is equipped with various connectors for external antennas and SIM cards. The ports are clearly labeled to facilitate proper connection of network accessories.
Antenna Ports
- Wi-Fi A: For Wi-Fi antenna connection.
- Wi-Fi B: For a second Wi-Fi antenna connection.
- Cellular 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D: Four ports for cellular antenna connections, typically for one cellular modem.
- Cellular 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D: Four additional ports for cellular antenna connections, typically for a second cellular modem.
- GPS: A dedicated port for GPS antenna connection.
SIM Card Slots
- Cellular SIM 1: Slot for the first SIM card.
- Cellular SIM 2: Slot for the second SIM card.
Port Grouping
The external ports are functionally grouped as follows:
- WIFI Port: This group includes Wi-Fi A and Wi-Fi B ports, intended for Wi-Fi antennas.
- Cellular Ports: This encompasses all eight cellular ports (Cellular 1A-1D and Cellular 2A-2D), designed for cellular antennas to enhance mobile network connectivity.
- GPS: This refers to the dedicated GPS port for location services.
