Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions when using an electrical appliance. Read all instructions before using your vacuum.

Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install a proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

  2. To access the filter, twist the top of the tank counter-clockwise to unlock and reveal filter.

  2. For extended reach, attach the extension wand to the hose first and then your desired tool.

Maintenance: Filter

WARNING: Do not operate vacuum with damp or wet filters, as well as without filters or the Dirt Container in place. Allow components to dry before reassembling the Dirt Container.

  1. Press tank release button and remove dirt tank.
  2. To access filter, turn top of tank counter clockwise and pull up to separate.
  3. Remove foam filter. Hand wash in warm water; mild detergent may be used if desired. Rinse well and air dry thoroughly. Replace filter if necessary.

  5. Return the tank's top, aligning the tabs and twisting clockwise to lock.
  6. Return tank, pressing firmly until you hear a "click".

Maintenance: Check Brush & Belt

Tools needed: Phillips head screwdriver.

  1. Unplug vacuum, turn it over and remove the 5 silver Phillips head screws to remove the bottom cover.
  2. Pull brush roll out of its housing, freeing it from the belt.
  3. Inspect brush roll by resting it on its end and giving it a spin. Brush roll should spin freely and make several rotations with one flick. If not, replace brush roll. Inspect belt; replace if it appears damaged.
  4. Reinstall belt onto the motor gear. Reinstall belt onto brush roll and place it back in. Position the end of the brush roll opposite the belt so it aligns with the tab. The end closer to the belt will slide onto the tab without needing to be spun.
  5. Reinstall the bottom cover by screwing in the 5 screws. Spin the brush roll one full turn by hand to center the belt properly.
