Installation
AC Output Installation:
Recommendation: This installation should be performed by a licensed electrician.
Before installing, ensure the unit is switched off and no devices are plugged into the AC 240V outputs. This step must be completed before installation.
Diagram illustrates connecting appliances to the inverter's AC 240V outputs.
Chassis Grounding:
Grounding is mandatory to prevent damage or injury. Locate the grounding point on the mounting bracket near the negative terminal. Securely attach a copper cable (at least 4mm²) to this point and connect the other end to a suitable earthing point, such as your vehicle's frame or the grounded negative terminal of the battery. Consult a licensed electrician for Australian/New Zealand standards compliance.
Connecting the Battery:
- Ensure correct cable sizes and fuses are available before connecting to the battery.
- Remove plastic inverter terminal covers by loosening screws. Slide covers over leads for connection.
- Remove nuts and washers from inverter terminals.
- Attach positive and negative cables to respective input terminals. Thread cable eye and washer over the bolt, secure with a nut. Repeat for both sides.
- Reinstall inverter terminal covers.
- Connect inverter cables to the battery or DC power source, positive terminal first, then negative.
Ensure the positive lead has an appropriately sized and placed fuse for safety.
Diagrams show the process of attaching cables to the inverter's battery terminals using nuts and washers.
Basic Setup Diagram:

Remote Installation (Sold Separately):
The remote allows operation from a distance, ideal for inaccessible installations. Select a space away from moisture. Drill 2mm holes at designated mounting points and cut a hole according to the diagram (86mm x 60mm opening with 60mm x 86mm faceplate dimensions).
Remove the remote faceplate, insert into the prepared hole, and secure with M3 screws. Reattach the faceplate and connect the RJ12 cable.
Mounting Requirements:
Follow these guidelines for mounting:
- Ventilation: Provide at least 100mm space around the inverter to prevent heat buildup.
- Orientation: Ideally, mount horizontally on a flat surface. Vertical mounting is acceptable but may stress the circuit board. Do not mount upside down.
- Stable: Mount on a sturdy surface capable of supporting the inverter's weight, using all mounting points and correct fasteners.
- Dry: Mount in an area free from moisture.
- Cool: Choose a location within 0°C and 40°C.
- Safe: Ensure the mounting area is free from fumes and other potential hazards.
- Limit Dust: Mount in an area with minimal dust to prevent ingress into the fans.
- Electrical: Position the inverter close to the battery to minimize voltage drop. Maintain at least 300mm distance between the inverter and battery. Install a fuse on the positive cable near the battery end.
Cable & Fuse Guide:
Cables must be thick enough to prevent voltage drop. Consider the total length of both positive and negative cables. Route cables to reduce the risk of damage, using cable conduit or protective tubing.

Operation
Operating the Inverter:
Once wired, the inverter is ready to power 240V appliances. Ensure the total wattage of connected appliances does not exceed the inverter's rated wattage.
- Ensure the 12V battery has sufficient charge.
- Plug the appliance into the AC 240V output.
- Turn on the inverter.
- Turn on your appliance(s).
