Product Overview
This manual provides instructions for using the Nedis Bluetooth padlock, which can be controlled via a mobile app and fingerprint recognition.
Getting Started
1. Button or Fingerprint Reader with Indicator
- Red light flashing: Device is operating.
- Blue light on: Device is connected.
Install the App
Download and install the "OKLOK" app from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) on your mobile device.
Register and Log In
- Enter and send your E-mail address.
- Enter the verification code received via E-mail.
- Register or reset fingerprint settings by touching the back of the device (2).
- Set your password and log in.
Pairing: 3 Options
- Scan the QR-code.
- Press the button (1) to activate Bluetooth.
- Enter the number of the device you wish to add.
Usage
- Press button 1 (see figure above) to connect the device to your phone.
- Use the app or your fingerprint to unlock.
- Use "Settings" to disconnect a paired device, including embedded records, or to rename the device.
- Authorize others to use the device: Add a friend as described in section 5. Select "Authorized" or "Unauthorized".
Personal Center
- Enter your personal data: My info, My QR-code, and settings (see 1 in the figure above).
- Add friend: Select "My friends" in the Personal Center and scan the QR code or account number of the other person.
- Usage record: View unlocking records, shared records, location information, or alarm information.
Safety Precautions
- Read the manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
- The manufacturer is not liable for consequential damages or damages to property or persons caused by non-observance of safety instructions and improper use of the device.
- Only use the device for its intended purposes as described in the manual.
- Do not use the device if any part is damaged or defective. Replace immediately if damaged or defective.
Battery Safety
- Use only the batteries mentioned in the manual.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not use batteries of different types or brands.
- Do not install batteries with reverse polarity.
- Do not short-circuit or disassemble batteries.
- Do not expose batteries to water.
- Do not expose batteries to fire or excessive heat.
- Remove batteries when leaving the product unattended for longer periods to prevent damage from potential leakage of fully discharged batteries.
- If battery liquid comes into contact with skin or clothing, rinse immediately with fresh water.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Warning!
- Before cleaning or maintenance, always switch off the device, remove the power plug from the wall socket, and wait for the device to cool down.
- Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
- Do not clean the inside of the device.
- Do not attempt to repair the device. Replace with a new device if it does not operate correctly.
- Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
- Clean the outside of the device with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
