Introduction
A Master Lock safe is depicted, featuring a metallic finish, a prominent dial lock mechanism, and a handle.
Master Lock® has announced a range of leading secure safes and security chests designed to combat fire, flooding, and theft, protecting your family or business in even the most extreme emergencies.
These safes are engineered to preserve digital storage devices, electronic equipment, documents, photo albums, money, and jewellery. They can endure incredibly hot temperatures, submersion in water, and thwart would-be burglars.
Combining brute strength with impenetrable qualities and the brand's heritage for innovation, the range features 60% bigger bolts than traditional safes, pry-resistant hinges, touch keypads, and audible alarms.
Constructed from steel and Master Lock's proprietary fire and water protection technology, customers can choose from large, extra-large, or two range-topping XXL safes. These models offer programmable digital combinations and have a capacity of 57 litres and a 57kg load.
For a more personal solution, four smaller security chests are available, starting at a 5.2-litre capacity and 6kg load. All of these can be securely bolted down to surfaces for added peace of mind.
Fighting Fire
Residential fires occur every eight minutes in the UK, typically allowing only two minutes to ensure everyone's safety. Master Lock® safes and security chests protect against a verified maximum temperature of 927°C for up to 60 minutes.
This temperature is significantly above the Curie point, the threshold at which physical storage media like hard drives, USB clips, and SD cards can no longer hold data, leading to the loss of precious files and memories. In the event of a fire, Master Lock® will replace your safe free of charge.
Flood Defence
Floods and extreme weather events are an increasing occurrence in the UK, with 10% of the population residing in areas designated as flood risks. Master Lock® safes offer water protection up to 20cm in depth for 24 hours. Their security chests remain fully watertight even when completely submerged.
Thwarting Theft
Approximately 800,000 domestic burglaries are reported in the UK annually, with an average haul of £2,267 stolen on each occasion. According to the Office for National Statistics, burglars' top five targets are:
- Jewellery (43%)
- Money (38%)
- Computer equipment (34%)
- Electricals (19%)
- Smartphones (13%)
Made from premium steel with bolts 60% larger than those on traditional safes, featuring pry-resistant hinges and audible alarms, Master Lock® safes are designed not only to deter thieves but to defeat them.
