Mechanical Structures and Installations

The dimmer features two groups of DALI signal input. The DALI bus does not require distinction between positive and negative polarity.

Physical dimensions are approximately 170mm (length) x 50mm (width) x 23mm (height). Mounting is facilitated by an installation rack.

Wiring Diagrams

DA4-CM for Single Color (C-1)

Connect the DALI Master to the DALI input terminals. Connect the LED output terminals to the LED load. The power supply (12-48VDC Constant Voltage) connects to the AC input (AC100-240V, 50/60Hz). This configuration drives 1-13 LEDs per channel across 4 channels. All four output channels provide the same output.

DA4-CM for Dual Color (C-2)

Similar wiring to single color. The DALI Master connects to the DALI input. LED outputs connect to the dual-color LED load. Power supply connects to AC input. This configuration drives 1-13 LEDs per channel across 4 channels, with channels 3/4 having the same output as channels 1/2.

DA4-CM for RGB (C-3)

Connect the DALI Master to the DALI input. LED outputs connect to the RGB LED load. Power supply connects to AC input. This configuration drives 1-13 LEDs per channel across 3 channels, as the 4th channel has no output.

DA4-CM for RGBW (C-4)

Connect the DALI Master to the DALI input. LED outputs connect to the RGBW LED load. Power supply connects to AC input. This configuration drives 1-13 LEDs per channel across 4 channels independently.

Operation

Output Current Setting

Before connecting the LED load, set the correct output current. Simultaneously press and hold the [M button] and the [Left arrow button] for 2 seconds to enter the output current setting mode.

Press the [M button] or wait for 10 seconds to exit the setting.

Setting the Light Type

When using the dimmer for the first time, set the light type according to your application needs. Press and hold the [M button] for 2 seconds to enter the light type setting mode.

Light Type Setting Instructions:

Setting DALI Address via Buttons

Long press the [Left arrow button] or [Right arrow button] for 2 seconds to prepare for setting the DALI address. Then, use the [Left arrow button] or [Right arrow button] to set the desired start DALI address. Short press the [M button] or wait for 10 seconds to quit the DALI address setting.

DALI Address Assigned by DALI Masters

DALI addresses can also be assigned automatically by a DALI Master controller. Refer to the user manual of the specific DALI Master for detailed operations. During address assignment by the DALI master, the digital display will show "AAU". After the address is assigned, the digital display will show the start DALI address as "Axx", where "xx" ranges from 00 to 63. If the DALI master assigns addresses in a discontinuous manner, the digital display might show "Uxx" for the start address.

Setting PWM Frequency

Simultaneously press and hold the [M button] and the [Left arrow button] for 2 seconds to prepare for setting the PWM frequency.

Short press the [M button] or wait for 10 seconds to exit the setting.

Restore Factory Default Parameter

Long press the [Left arrow button] and [Right arrow button] for 2 seconds to restore factory default parameters. The display will show "RES".
