This guidebook provides instructions for the installation and remote control of the Mount-It! MI-4224 using the Tuya App. Please note that the illustrations are for guidance purposes only, and the latest version of the App may differ.

App Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare Your Device and Phone

Turn on the Bluetooth ⚙️ of your phone and make sure it connects to the Wi-Fi ?.

Step 2: Sign In or Sign Up

Open the Tuya Smart App. Sign in using your phone number and a verification code, or sign up if you are a new user. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Step 3: Add Device

Tap the "[Add Device]" or "[+] ➕" icon, typically located in the upper right corner of the app's main screen, to navigate to the device selection page.

Step 4: Auto Scan and Permissions

On the "[Add Device]" page, tap "[Auto Scan]" at the top. Enable all necessary permissions when prompted, including Access Location, Enable Wi-Fi, and Enable Bluetooth. Then, tap "[Start Scanning]".

Step 5: Select Device Type

From the list of available devices found, select "Motorized TV Solution" and proceed by tapping "[Next]".

Step 6: Connect to Wi-Fi

Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the corresponding password. Tap "[Next]" to continue.

Step 7: Device Connection

The device will begin connecting. This process may take between 10 to 60 seconds. The app will display the connection progress.

Step 8: Access Remote Dashboard

Once the device is successfully connected, click on it to enter the "remote" dashboard. You can also edit the device name by tapping the pencil icon [Edit].

Step 9: Disconnect Device

To disconnect the device, long-press the device icon on the main app screen.

Home Management

The Home Management feature allows you to organize your devices and share control with others.

H1: Navigate to Home Management

Tap the "[me]" icon at the bottom of the app, then select "Home Management".

H2: Create a Home

Tap "[Create a home]" to set up a new home environment.

H3: Complete Home Information

Fill in the required home information, including the Home Name (compulsory, maximum 25 characters), Location, and Rooms. Save the information once completed.

H4: Select Your Home

Choose the home you just created from the list of available homes.

H5: Add Members

To add other users to your home, select "[Add Member]". The invited user will receive a notification in the app and can control the device after accepting the invitation.

Important Note on Device Sharing: A single device cannot be controlled by multiple users simultaneously unless using the Home Management function. If a previous user needs to disconnect, they must do so via the app or by long-pressing the "set" button on the remote for 5 seconds before a new user can connect.
