Getting Started

Dear Customer, thank you for choosing the EVOLVEO mobile phone. Recommendations for phone care and safe use:

Initial Setup and Component Insertion

Opening the Back Cover: Lift the battery cover.

Inserting SIM Card: Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot and press it firmly to secure it.

Inserting microSDHC Card: Insert the microSDHC card into its designated slot.

Inserting Battery: Insert the battery.

Charging the Battery: For first-time use, charge the battery fully. Connect the charger to the USB-C port.

Setup Complete: Close the cover and ensure it is securely fastened.

Important Information and Care

• EVOLVEO MaxPhone A1 is not waterproof or dustproof.
• Prolonged exposure to metal particles or other metallic objects may damage, for example, the speaker or earpiece, and is not covered by warranty.
• This phone is a complex electronic device; protect it from shocks and magnetic fields.
• Considering the many different ways of use, for example, whether the back cover is properly closed, we are not responsible for liquid damage.
• The phone's display is made of glass, which can crack if dropped on a hard surface, subjected to strong impact, or if the display is bent or deformed. If the display is damaged, do not attempt to repair it. Glass that cracks due to improper use or abuse is not covered by warranty.
• Clean the phone immediately if it comes into contact with products that can cause stains, such as ink, dyes, cosmetics, food, oil, etc.
• Do not use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasive cleaners.
• If the phone falls into water, do not press any buttons, but immediately wipe it with a dry cloth and let it air dry freely before turning it back on.
• Do not attempt to dry the phone using an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or hair dryer.
• The phone is designed for operation at temperatures from 0°C to 40°C and can be stored at temperatures from -20°C to 45°C. Lower or higher temperatures may affect phone operation and battery life.
• Do not use the phone outdoors during thunderstorms; we are not responsible for any device damage or health damage related to such use.
• Do not puncture the speaker, insert any objects into the openings, or paint the phone – all these actions affect the phone's functionality and hermeticity.
• EVOLVEO MaxPhone A1 has been tested according to ES standards regarding radio waves, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
• If you wish to limit radiofrequency energy exposure, limit direct exposure time, for example, by using a Bluetooth hands-free kit, or maintain a greater distance between your body and the phone.
• Never attempt to repair the phone yourself; disassembly of the phone, including removing external screws, may cause damage not covered by warranty.
• Importers, distributors, and resellers are not liable for any data loss or direct or indirect damages resulting from the phone's operation, regardless of the cause.

Troubleshooting

Phone Cannot Be Turned On

• Press and hold the power button for at least 3 seconds.
• The battery is low; charge the battery.

SIM Card Not Working

• Check or replace the SIM card.

Charging Failed

• Contact is damaged; check or replace the cable or charger.
• Charging voltage is too low; charge the battery for about half an hour, then disconnect and reconnect the charger to fully charge the battery.
• Incorrect charger; use the correct charger.

Cannot Make Calls

• SIM card is damaged; check or replace the SIM card.

Partial Call Error

• Incorrect phone number; check the number.
• Incorrect settings; check call blocking.

Incorrect PIN Code

• Entered incorrect code three times; contact your operator.

Cannot Send SMS Message

• Service not activated on your SIM card or SMS center number not set; contact your operator to set parameters.

Automatic Lock Error

• Entered incorrect code (forgotten code); contact the EVOLVEO service center.

Mobile Phone Turns Off Automatically

• Battery is low; charge the battery.
• Error in settings; check if the automatic power-off function is enabled.
• Random failure; turn the phone back on.

Phone Unreachable for Incoming Calls

• Volume is set to minimum; readjust the volume.

Phone Lock

This function protects the phone from unauthorized use by others. The reset password is "1234".

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not apply to:

• Installation of firmware other than the original firmware installed on the EVOLVEO phone from the factory.
• Electromechanical or mechanical damage caused by incorrect user operation (e.g., cracked display layer, cracked front or back cover, damaged USB power connector, SIM card slot, microSDHC card slot, or headphone jack, etc.).
• Damage to the speaker and earpiece caused by metal particles.
• Damage caused by natural influences such as fire, water, static electricity, high temperatures, etc.
• Defects arising from normal wear and tear.
• Damage caused by unauthorized repairs.
• Phone firmware updates required due to changes in mobile operator network parameters.
• Mobile operator network defects.
• Battery if it does not retain its original capacity after more than 6 months of use (battery capacity warranty is 6 months).
• Intentional damage.

Disposal

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the product, literature, or packaging means that all electrical and electronic products, batteries, and accumulators must be collected separately at the end of their service life. Do not dispose of these products with unsorted household waste.

Warranty and Post-Warranty Service

Repairs and servicing can only be performed by an authorized EVOLVEO phone service point (more information at www.evolveo.com). Otherwise, you may damage the mobile phone and void the warranty.
