Keys and Icons

Understanding the scale's display and controls:

  • 1. Step On Indicator: Indicates the scale is ready to be stepped on.
  • 2. Weight Readout: Displays the measured weight.
  • 3. Unit of Measure: Shows the selected unit, either Pounds (LB) or Kilograms (KG).
  • 4. User Number: Displays the selected user profile (1 or 2).
  • 5. Memory Indicator: Shows that weight data is being stored or accessed.
  • 6. Difference in weight: Displays the change in weight compared to the previously saved weight for the selected user.

Important Note: Before using the scale, remove the plastic tab from the back of the scale to activate the battery.

Weighing in Kilograms (KG)

  1. Turn on the scale by tapping the bottom right corner of the platform.
  2. Choose kilograms (KG) using the selector push button on the back of the scale.

Using Your Weight Tracking Scale

Your scale includes a weight tracking feature that shows weight gained or lost since the previous reading.

  1. Place the scale on a flat, hard surface for maximum accuracy.
  2. Step onto the scale, distributing your weight evenly. The LCD display will flash "000" several times before showing your weight. Stand still while reading the display.
    • Note on Scale Operation: The scale offers "Instant ON" (step directly onto the scale) or "Tap ON" (tap the lower right corner and wait for "0.0" before stepping on).
    • If "===" appears during "Instant ON" weighing, the scale has recalibrated. Step off and back on.
    • This model saves readings for up to two (2) users.
  3. Step off the scale to select a user number for weight tracking.
  4. Your weight will be displayed for a few seconds, then the scale will cycle through user numbers (1-2).
  5. Select your user number by tapping the lower right corner of the scale when your desired number appears. Your current weight is now saved under that user number.
  6. After saving, the display will briefly show your previously saved weight (if applicable) and then the difference between your current weight and the previously saved weight. For example: "140.2 LB - 5.0 LB" indicating a 5.0 LB change.

Note: To preserve battery life, the scale will automatically turn off after 15 seconds of inactivity.

Battery Replacement

This unit includes one CR2032 battery. When "LO" appears on the display, replace the battery.

  1. Locate the battery cover on the back of the scale. Push the locking tab and pull the battery cover upwards.
  2. Use the tip of a pen to loosen the battery. Hold the scale at an angle to allow the battery to slide out.
  3. Insert a new battery with the "+" side facing up.
  4. Replace the battery cover.

Note: The Lithium coin battery used in this product contains perchlorate material. Special handling may apply in California. For more information, visit: www.dtsc.ca.gov/hazardouswaste/perchlorate.
