Instructions for Use
- Lower the volume on your audio device.
- Gently insert the earbuds into your ears.
- Gradually raise the volume to a comfortable level.
- In order to block outside noise, position the earbuds so they form a seal inside your ear.
- Test the various gel tip options to find the best fit.
Fitting Your Earbuds
Follow these steps to ensure a secure and comfortable fit:
- Step 1: Select tip + Cush Fin
Choose the appropriate gel tip size and attach the 'Cush Fin' to the earbud. The image shows an earbud with a blue gel tip and a blue 'Cush Fin' accessory attached.
- Step 2: Rotate Cush Fin
Adjust the position of the 'Cush Fin' on the earbud for optimal placement. The image depicts the earbud with the Cush Fin rotated to a different angle.
- Step 3: Lock in Cush Fin
Insert the earbud into your ear, angling the 'Cush Fin' to rest securely in the concha (the bowl-like part of your ear) to create a seal. The diagram shows the earbud being inserted into an ear, with the Cush Fin positioned correctly.

Warm-Up Your Headphones
Optional: Burn-in is the process for exercising new audio equipment. JLab Audio recommends 40 hours of burn-in time for most headphones to reach optimal performance. The purpose is to loosen the diaphragm of a newly crafted headphone and stress the driver. Normal, everyday use can also contribute to burn-in, but JLab's proprietary burn-in process provides an ideal mix of sounds and frequency sweeps.
Burn-in your audio equipment using the JLab Audio app, available on the App Store and Google Play. Alternatively, access the burn-in method at: jlabaudio.com/burnin.
Cautions
- Avoid getting moisture or liquids into the tip of the earbuds.
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds, stressing the cable by rapid pulling or extreme force, or bending the cable at a sharp angle.
- Wax may build up in the earbud tips, lowering the sound quality. Carefully remove the wax with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve the sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or discontinuing use temporarily.
- If you experience regular discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your physician.
- We recommend you treat your earbuds as you would a nice pair of sunglasses and keep them in a safe location when not in use.
