01 Safety Precautions

General Disclaimer

Safety Disclaimer

! Warning

DC Side

  1. Ensure component frames and bracket system are securely grounded.
  2. Connect DC cables using provided connectors and terminals. The manufacturer is not liable for equipment damage if other connectors or terminals are used.
  3. Ensure DC cables are connected tightly and securely.
  4. Measure DC cable with a multimeter to avoid reverse polarity connection. Ensure voltage is within the permissible range.

AC Side

  1. Voltage and frequency at the connection point must meet on-grid requirements.
  2. An additional protective device (circuit breaker or fuse) is recommended on the AC side. The device's specification should be at least 1.25 times the AC output rated current.
  3. The PE cable of the inverter must be connected firmly. Resistance between neutral wire and earth cable should be less than 100Ω.
  4. Copper cables are recommended for AC output. Contact the manufacturer for aluminum cables.

Inverter Side

  1. Terminals at the bottom of the inverter cannot bear much load to prevent damage.
  2. Ensure all labels and warning marks are clear after installation. Do not deface, damage, or cover any label on the device.
  3. Warning labels on the inverter are as follows:
Symbol Description
High Voltage Hazard. Power off the inverter first before any operations.
? Read through the guide before any operations.
? High-temperature hazard. Do not touch the equipment to avoid being burnt.
⚠️ Potential risks exist. Wear proper PPE before any operations.
Delayed discharge. Wait until components are totally discharged after power off.

Check Before Power ON

No. Check Item
1 The inverter is firmly installed in a clean, well-ventilated, and easily accessible place.
2 The PE cable, DC input cable, AC output cable, and communication cable are connected correctly and securely.
3 Cable ties are routed properly and evenly, with no burrs.
4 Unused ports and terminals are sealed.
5 The voltage and frequency at the connection point meet the on-grid requirements.

03 Inverter Installation

Packing List

The packing list includes various components such as connectors, cables, and mounting hardware. Note: 'N' indicates the number of actual accessories may differ depending on the model.

Space Requirements

Ensure adequate space around the inverter for ventilation and maintenance. Minimum clearances:

Installation environment requirements:

Angle Requirements:

Installing the Inverter

Follow these steps for mounting the inverter:

  1. Drill holes for mounting, avoiding water pipes and buried cables in the wall.
  2. Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate fasteners.
  3. Mount the inverter onto the bracket.

04 Electrical Connection

Connecting the PE Cable

Ensure the PE cable is connected securely to the grounding terminal. Use copper cable with a cross-sectional area of at least 4mm². The length of the cable (L) should be L1 + (1-2)mm. Tighten the M5 terminal screw to 1.2-2 N·m.

Connecting the AC Cable

Prepare the AC cable according to the specifications:

Follow these steps for connecting the AC cable:

  1. Strip the cable to the specified length (75mm).
  2. Assemble the connector components.
  3. Insert the L1, L2, L3, N, and PE wires into the corresponding terminals of the connector.
  4. Secure the wires with the provided screws, tightening to 0.6 N·m. Ensure proper connection of L1, L2, L3, N, and PE.
  5. Connect the assembled AC cable connector to the inverter's AC output port.

Connecting the DC Cable

Prepare the DC cables:

Follow these steps for connecting the DC cables:

  1. Prepare the DC connectors (positive and negative).
  2. Crimp the terminals onto the DC cables.
  3. Assemble the DC connectors.
  4. Use a multimeter to measure the DC voltage and check the polarity of the connectors before plugging them into the inverter's PV input terminals (PV1, PV2). Ensure a 'click' sound indicates a secure connection.

Connecting the DRED Cable (6PIN)

Contact after-sales service for the DRED terminal if needed. DRED function is off by default; enable it via the SolarGo App if required.

Follow these steps for connecting the DRED cable:

  1. Prepare the DRED cable (6.5mm stripping, 25mm overall length).
  2. Assemble the 6-PIN connector components.
  3. Connect the DRED cable to the connector and tighten the M2 screw to 0.3-0.4 N·m.
  4. Connect the DRED cable to the inverter's DRED port.
