Installing the Inverter
Follow these steps for mounting the inverter:
- Drill holes for mounting, avoiding water pipes and buried cables in the wall.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate fasteners.
- Mount the inverter onto the bracket.
04 Electrical Connection
Connecting the PE Cable
Ensure the PE cable is connected securely to the grounding terminal. Use copper cable with a cross-sectional area of at least 4mm². The length of the cable (L) should be L1 + (1-2)mm. Tighten the M5 terminal screw to 1.2-2 N·m.
Connecting the AC Cable
Prepare the AC cable according to the specifications:
- 4-10kW: Cable diameter 13mm ≤ ∮ ≤ 18mm, cross-sectional area 4mm² ≤ S ≤ 10mm²
- 12-15kW: Cable diameter 18mm ≤ ∮ ≤ 25mm, cross-sectional area 6mm² ≤ S ≤ 16mm²
Follow these steps for connecting the AC cable:
- Strip the cable to the specified length (75mm).
- Assemble the connector components.
- Insert the L1, L2, L3, N, and PE wires into the corresponding terminals of the connector.
- Secure the wires with the provided screws, tightening to 0.6 N·m. Ensure proper connection of L1, L2, L3, N, and PE.
- Connect the assembled AC cable connector to the inverter's AC output port.
Connecting the DC Cable
Prepare the DC cables:
- Cable diameter: 4-5mm
- Recommended cross-sectional area: 2.5mm² ≤ S ≤ 4mm²
- Stripping length: 7-8mm
Follow these steps for connecting the DC cables:
- Prepare the DC connectors (positive and negative).
- Crimp the terminals onto the DC cables.
- Assemble the DC connectors.
- Use a multimeter to measure the DC voltage and check the polarity of the connectors before plugging them into the inverter's PV input terminals (PV1, PV2). Ensure a 'click' sound indicates a secure connection.
